I think you needed to reset your machine after your first bend, mate. It didn't return to the drum pattern and was locked in a loop so the bend patches you tried after that were totally noise and no rhythm. There has to be better bends than that.

Call me crazy but I don't get...what is the point?? I have a SR 16 drum machine, why would I want to break it open and mess with the circuits for it to sound like crap, its just distrortion? I could do the same thing by turning up the gain on my mixer and distort it or put the machine through an effects processor to make it sound lke crap instead of wasting hours of my time to hear what it sounds like when my cable goes out.

hey man do you know how to create different tempos when you are in the song edit mode, my machine plays all the patterns I insert at the same tempo when I do song play and I need to know how to make the song be diffrent speeds in different measures, can u help? I'd appreciate it. I've searched the manual but it doesn't help.
This box doesn't have on-board memory. Instead, program information is saved externally on tape or as a sound file (it sounds like an old school modem). That's what the tape save/load output is all about. You record the data audio, and then play it back in when you want to recall your programming.
Do a google search for "Dr 550 manual". Its a better use of your time than asking for help on youtube comments.
