France, Germany & a few other countries initially said we wanted a United Europe after we build the Coil & Steel project. After more countries joined in "including the UK" the name changed to European Community. After the cold war the EC became the EU.

This would fall apart as we start to reclaim debts, which would cause the banks of Spain, Italy to fail, therefore a mass European depression. And vise versa. It was not until the last few months of the war that the Americans had a bigger force in Europe than the British. If the UK leaves the EU, we could still manage to have market and economic exchange. Switzerland isn't part of the EU, and yet they still export and import with us. Same thing with Norway. This would fall apart as we start to reclaim debts, which would cause the banks of Spain, Italy to fail, therefore a mass European depression. And vise versa. If the British are misinformed about what we get out of Europe, it is in the best interests of democracy that the back stabbing politicians come clean and stop a commercial take over by other nations. But the single currency is doomed and the French and Germans know it.
