Nobody likes electronics. BUT if it actually compliments the show to fill a void that couldn't be done without it, I'm ok with it. What the Cadets did early on was ridiculous. At least the coats aren't using the synth on every hold to make the contras and low brass sound good... because they dont NEED help like other corps. I haven't seen any other program that used electronics as good as this show, regardless if we like it or not. It's only going to get worse with mics now.
@magikkmann When it was up for a vote among all the voting members at DCI the Bluecoats were one of the strongest advocates against electronics. When the vote went the other way the used electronics but not as much as other corps. You can blame George Hopkins for the introduction of electronics into the art.
@raridan1 I agree with you about George Hopkins. And actually, currently, I really, really love this show, electronics and all (except the ballad...bleh!) I have watched this show so many times on the bluray, it's not even funny. I hope they can win a championship soon. Go Bluuuuuu!

@Bandman630 Yes, it was part of the show. A color guard member appears from behind him near the end of the movement.

@brown55061 yeah the contras at the end of the show actually drop the octave instead of the synth to beef up the chord
