that is the 777, BTW, we are not trained on how to perform a safety demo, that's why we all do it differently, we are trying to follow the voice of the video, and that safety demo is only performed for the FIRST row, since the others have their own individual screens, the screens on the first row must be stowed during taxi out. hope that helps :)

They are not good at all, I'm a flight Attendant and we have to show how to fasten a seat belt, how to put on a life jacket, where the exits are, and where the oxygen mask come out. I work on an 767-200ER.

I'm fairly sure it's a Boeing 777-200ER. You can tell from the over head bins which are Boeing's Signature Interior, installed on all Boeing 777s and 764s. Also on the video there are eight exit doors, making it a 777-200ER, as their 77Ls were delivered after this video was posted.

Since those passengers at the front bulkhead rows have to stow their PTV's for taxi they are unable to see deltalina like all the other passengers on the aircraft, so they do it manually for those customers.

if the aircraft is equipped for over water flying you must demo the life vest. according to my manual. delta f/a's hardly do a manual demo so its a total mess when they have to. so strange that this wide body didnt have video screens at the bulkhead. anyway i think deltas video system is one of the worst in the industry. they regularly overheat and shut down.

I flew Delta lastweek from JFK-AMS and indeed the video system didn't work for the entire flight the P.A. also was cracking up. The crew had to do a manual demo. OMG it was a mess. They didn't know what was to be shown after one took the lifevest the other the safety card hahahahahahaha.

This demo is so weirdddddd, I work for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines As a F/A and our demo is SYNCHRONISED that's the way it should be. This is so boringgggg.

However Delta crew are very friendly.

per FAA (USA... other countries might do their own thing i'm sure) OVER WATER SAFETY DEMO is shown only if we're flying --50 MILES-- out or more.

so when you as a flight attendant for qantas when you fly within your country (not over the ocean) you still have to perform the lifevest demo? In America, we don't unless we fly 50 miles over the ocean. Sorry to disappoint you. Delta Flight Attendant.

so not true you fool , im a international flight attendant with qantas, i have flown several airlines . you information is incorrect, in our airline that would not be allowed at all . not to wear the life jacket , and to show the passengers the correct way to use one . i dont think so our country has strict guidelines .

The flight probably wasnt overwater so the F/As dont need to show passengers how to use the life vests.

F/A pay is terrible here in the U.S. I am certain that F/As do not have to show the use of live vests if on a non-over water flight. Have a good day!

As a flight attendant myself..I CAN SAY we are NOT required to do the lifevest demo for coast to coast flying or non water flying. Also, the use and demo is in the SAFETY INFO CARD..READ OR familiarise yourself with it. You are also responsible for YOUR own safety. It is in the safety card!!!!

I think its because the tvs at the bulkhead seats have to be stowed when on the ground so the F/As have to do the demonstration.
