Sigh, what I'd give to go back to that time, miss my old A500, never enjoyed games as much since then. Both Commercial and PD on the Amiga trashed anything you can find for free now, because the games were innovative. I still play emulated Speedball 2 among others.

PD's were brill, well a lot were garbage as well but it didnt matter, i hardly ever bought commercial stuff, 90 percent of my disks were PD, i was gonna set up a stall selling em when id collected enough but erm, turns out you cant make as much money as i thought from it, if anything. I want my amiga and my childhood back

computers are better but the software has gotten for more complex and more resource hungry. The main problem is that the people expect their computer to be a tv, a games machine, word proccessor, a browser etc. and it takes a big operating system to be capable of doing all these things. My amiga 500 wouldnt even be able to run my video drivers without running out of memory.

Your mums boyfriend needs sorting out, i took my amiga out of my mums loft cos i got the feeling she was gonna throw mine. No way mother!!!, i got it working a few months back but over half the floppy disks were broke which upset me. Stil;l the thing still works afetr all this time. My pc breaks all the frikin time

Fun to see, I as an old Amiga user get nostalgic... :D But its a bad commercial really... like most of the old advertisments the computer has only a minor part. They should have shown more programs like Dpaint or games like Alienbreed and Turrican in action and tell what it does instead of showing some nerd who imagines he can save the world by playing alienbreed.

im surprised it was alien breed because that must have been 1992/1993 and amigas were being surpassed by PCs by that point. (eg Doom) dont get wrong loved amiga games.

I was a HUGE AMIGA fan. I mean i even when to see one of the new CEO's that had brought the company out..... back in the 90s

I still have the pens, mouse mat and other stuff that was handed out.
