  • Lol thought the book said it's all fuck

  • a cuanto me lo vendes ese proyector

  • lens +good light + mp4 player xD yeah!

  • DOWN IN FRONT!!!

  • how much did the leds cost becasue they look like they preform well and im building my own but mine is a 1080p hd one.

  • Very nice job, mate! You know, there are some pretty high performance LED modules for sale online, which are about 100W.

Is this an LCD or DLP projector?

(btw, you misspelled "homemade" in the tags)

  • i thought it said "lets all fuck" at 0:14 .

  • Awesome job there

  • Pause this video on 0:14 lol!

  • If you guys wanna see how to make a projector using just a box and a magnifying glass, along with a double iPod touch giveaway and ipad 2 information click on my username.

  • Seems cool but rubbish quality

  • ia331411.us.archive.org/3/items/TvQuran.com__1/TvQuran.com__020.mp3

  • hey nice 1 how do you do that ?

  • @pimp408650 he used a camera for the screen inside the projecter and leds and a lense to make the picture

  • Hey man can you put iPhone LCD screen inside of this projector and use iPhone as a connector for that screen and VGA/hdmi into the iPhone? If yes you can make one of he best projectors out wig using iPhone 4's LCD...

  • in description said DIY this is use to say how to do it not to show only

  • i want one of those please let me know how to get it

  • im making projectors too i just got an old slide projector so that should be alot better quality lenses than my $2 plastic magnified glass, that looks very bright for 20watts, mine is a 20watt led to. i cracked my lcd so that sucks! (another $40 grr) how big is your screen? mine is 2.5 inches across i think.

  • i have 100 videos of diferent diy projectors

  • I'm using 120w bulb with white light but ... its not the same result ... is it from the projejecting lens ?

  • I still have an old eeePC900, the keyboard stopped working -.- but could i make a projector using this screen?

  • @DaDeceptiveOne sorry, it needs to be working.

  • @DaDeceptiveOne oh so you can plug a keyboard into it? and it works fine? that would be awesome but it changes it all because you have a bigger screen now

  • That must be a great achievement for you. Fantastic!

  • what is image source resolution? this tft matrix is from mp4?

  • Hi, great job! Are you able to connect other inputs? For example, computer monitor, tv, gaming console, etc...

  • @RoRoski22 Yeas, the Mp4 I used for this project has AV in, so I can connet anything thru that connector .

  • cooooooooooool

  • could you tell me where you were able to get those type of high power LED's i been searching all over for them, but all i have found them in is china. any info would be appreciated.

  • why doesnt the lens permit a more square/uniform image?

  • @KeithWasHere1 Lenses never do a square or uniform image. You would need an iris of some sort for that.

  • How many luman was the led/led array you used?

  • First off, I'm studying Electronic Engineering so I appreciate how much work this must have taken and it really is a fantastic result. Secondly, you must have researched current projectors and seen how expensive they are, how much did this cost to make? Not that I could ever reproduce something even vaguely similar, at least just yet, I'm still learning...

  • @MisterAlexUk Hi there! I'm glad you like my projector. In the comments of this video there is a link with a lot of info of this projector.

I did not make the current protector in this projector, I made one for my other projector that you can check if you want on my other videos.

For this projector I'm using a power supply that does not exceed the current of the LED.

  • do a vid on how to make it !!

  • amazing work!!! I plan to make one for my sons 360 so when he has his friends over they can GAME BIG!!!! lol you rock my friend!!

  • hey thanks so much for replying to me on your other video i have figured out how to make it brighter like your one i wasnt using that cone thing between led and condenser lens now its really bright thanks

  • Well done for the idea, but by the time you have bought all the stuff to make it, may as well just buy one. I have a Microjekt pocket power mini projector, it fits in your pocket yet is at least as bright as this looks, plus it connects to VGA, AV, or projects from it's 4gb internal memory. I have owned the pocket cinema from Aiptek too, but the Pocket power from Microjekt "walks over it".

  • Ok, forget my past question, I did´t saw the link, this is completely awesome, I mean I have a dying zune, I can remove the lcd display to use it for this project, thanks man, congrats on this.

  • Newtonn2, how much did you spent on this projectt, if you can share that it would be appreciated for some of us that can´t spend too much.

  • that is awsome, better than some other stuff i seen. great job

  • cuntos led utilisaste para qte de esa luminoscidad?

cuando iso la prueva ccon muchos led funciono? que cantidad que mcn? por favor responda

  • I only used one high power led. Check the link in the comments of this video.

  • @Escanerdj LCD screens are only designed to change which visible light comes through. they have no effect on infrared. on an infrared camera, all LCDs look blank.

  • Good work mate!

  • Thank you!

  • duuuuude!!nice work bro..you know you could make those and sell them cheaply on ebay..id buy one just to support you bro!nice work!!

  • nice.

  • my question might seem same strange. Using an infrared light source to project through the LCD, can it project the picture of LCD that will be only visible through IR filter camera?

  • You could do that, but you will need a really powerful IR LEDs. I tried already with a matrix of 50 LED's and it was not powerful enuf.

  • Great Job!

  • ok

can you plz tell us how you did that

  • look at the link in the comments on this video.

    Thanks!

  • ok thats cool

    just few things

how can i input video from computer or dvd player?? using any composite or any other wiring

can i use another light source other than leds??

  • Great work!

Wish I could do something like that :)

  • Thanks, I'm sure you can do it, if you check the comments on this video there is a link to the web where I show how i've done it.

  • what is the use of that fan?????????? To blow air INTO the box or SUCK the air from the box to the outside????????????

  • The fan is to cool down the led. So it doesn't need to blow air inside or suck it. It only could down the heat sink that cool down the LED

  • oooohhhhhhhhhhhh i see thanx for the reply........

  • ¿Qué tan grande es la resolución

  • This uses an LCD panel as your image matrix?

  • Nice projector..doesn't the family love it when we ask them to stand here....hold this...Have you adjusted the condenser yet? Maybe do a update with a action flick playing.I'd like to see the graphics.Real tight job on that led!

  • @REDZONE133

Thank you. I did not adjusted the condenser because I'm working on a better version of this projector with a box a bit bigger, In this box there is just not enuf space for adjusting the condenser lens. Did you see the link on the comments of this video? there are pictures of this projector.

  • I have looked at the scematic on your instructables and i haveone question...

Do you HAVE to have a regulated power supply, or will the led be fine with about 14v? (assumeing a slightly larger current limiting risistor then suggested)

ive never worked with such large leds and i as its gonna be £20 for one i dont want to blow it up.

  • well done, but whats with the edges? (round)

  • That's because the box I used was to small, to be able to project without the round corners I needed to separate the condenser lens a bit more from the LCD. But I wanted to keep it small, so that's why I didn't do anything about it.

  • is hard to belive that u did it yourself

    so if its true comgratulations

    is perfect

  • dude, this is crazy nasty awesome!!!

  • COOOOLLLLL!

  • how did you wire that message me how to please

  • Thank you, glad you like it.

  • Your projector is better that from the Big Boy*s.. Congrats.

  • Comment removed

  • Fantastic job, if you focus the light on the LCD it'll remove the vignetting and look even better.

  • Yea the 20 watt is a lot better!, You should use 2 of them

  • YEAH! ten times better. But if i would like to improve it i would go for a 50W High Power LED.

  • Wow, they make 50 watt leds? Must be expensive.

  • Dude you can buy 900 Lumen leds for under 18 bucks

  • is 900 lumens 50 watts?

  • "lumens" is a reference to how bright the led is whereas the wattage just refers to how much energy is used. I've heard that there are 50 W leds that produce about 1700 lumens, but the led I'm referring to only used around 10 Watts.

  • a 900 lumen LED is generally 10 watts.

  • how the fuck did u make that

  • There is a link in the comment of this video of a web page were i put step by step how to do it.

  • how do i make it please tell me

  • i can see the difference with the one led compared to the 80

  • I got excited when I saw your other video because I thought you were using the LEDs for the actual video output (as lo res as that would have been), not just backlight!

This is still some great DIY though.
