el buen galguero no abandona a sus perros nunca...pero en como todo, siempre hay casos de abandonos, pero eso no se pueden llamar galgueros ni nada...

Spain is one of the countries with more animal protection laws. Galgo races are illegal, our horses are cared for, and dog hunting will be history soon, which is more than your country can say.

Britain is not right in racing the dogs, but Spain is not right in ignoring them, either-no govt. funding for the rescues, as I recall.
The Spanish arent pet lovers. Send those galgos to England, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium. Germany where it is more civilized. They are the most beautiful dogs in the world. Where is that rescued place?

We don't have horse derbys, unlike in england, where this cruel practice ends up with many dead, and ruined horses every year.

@DragonNighthowler Third, you don't have horse derbys...but you do export horse meat by the metric ton to France and Italy and there are plenty of butchers in northern Spain willing to slaughter and serve. The US stopped slaughtering horses years ago and race tracks are shutting down. The UK still sends their horses to the slaughter alongside Spain and it would appear to me that at least the horse in the derby gets euthanized to spare suffering rather than packed in a truck and eaten.

El miedo que sigue teniendo mi galgo a los hombres y la cicatriz que tiene en el brazo derecho,eso no lo paga nadie. Pero para que acaben los maltratos está claro que hay que darles en el bolsillo,que es donde les duele
