Id like to get that transcription software. I sent you an email about something else also. Do you use that software or do the transcriptions yourself?
why is there no FUCKIN video of ray singin this on youtube :| fuck sake i love this guy playin it so much and wana hear the great god of ray charles playin it n it just isnt there :'(
While I am a harmonica player, I like to dig into the chord structure of songs -- and your videos are very helpful. THANKS. By the way, what is the transcription software you mention? Please email if you can: bluesasia@gmail.com
have you considered perhaps posting some other short solos by Ray? for example Low Society - another simple blues boogie, but rather impossible for me to uncrack by myself... just a hint;) once again, great job!!!
OMG!!! Thanks so much Chris! You have no idea how many times I've listened through this part of the movie and for how long I've hoped to find even the cut out on youtube, just to listen to it over and over... And here you are, makin' it possible for me to actually play it!! Once again, many thanks! Respect for achieving the exact same sound as Ray did in the epic movie... Peace!
There's just somethin' bout da blues that draws me in. Thanks Chris, great video and editing. I haven't figured out how to combine keyboard and MIDIKeyz into a tutorial on my computer yet, but I'm workin' on it.
Whitney Houston's piano player - Jetro Da Silva taught me that transcription is the fastest way to learn. So go listen hard to the recording and then watch the video to see the right answers!
Its easier for me if you write out the chord in addition to the notes. I think that would be useful overall for all players.
