  • How many RPM? Snail shell blowers don't really put out until they get to about 70,000 + RPM?

  • 1 bar @ 1 cfm! IMPRESSIVE! o.O

  • can it do the same thing with a condom ?

  • this is like every girls dream....... a super hair dryer

  • @1PARADOXXX i just pictured a blond burning her face in turbo exhaust. LMFAO

  • Why don't you put a hot water bottle on there and see what happens. That litte hair dryer will burn up trying to make a dent in it.

On a seperate note, they appear to be alot of fun at a kid's birthday party.

  • Best hair dryer ever!!!!!

  • I have an electric supercharger, and i have measured it to see if it really worksand it does, its an eram. It also takes about 80 amps fromthe battery and when it was working for a long time uphill it killed the battery and ignition!

It does work, a cheap one with thin wires will just restrict your airflow. I also have nitrous and that works much better but costs more................

  • Did anybody else think this was a hair dryer when this vid started?

  • which electric motor did u used to make it run?

  • stick your finger in there

  • @boubouson Dude, I don't know why but your comment made me laugh hard. That's some funny stuff right there.

"Stick your finger in there." Hahahahahahahaha

  • do these people on youtube with electric superchargers honestly believe that they work, or are they in on the joke as well???...

  • @daffaduck ur mom said her pussy was tight but that was a joke

  • the way superchargers and turbochargers work is that it is PUSHING MORE AIR that the engine normally takes it. Take a cars engine size and a rotations speed and do the math on how much air that they intake per second i a doubt that these electric superchargers come close pushing more than that much air in. Also another thing, superchargers are run off off a pulley that is spun by your engine belt, NOT electronically driven by some small cheap ass electric motor that is use in a hair dryer

  • Install it on a car w/ a boost gauge, it there is any POSITIVE pressure we'll start buying, It'll never happen though..

  • I have a Shop-Vac which will outperform that "Electric Supercharger" thing. It also looks like an enlarged hair dryer.

  • @pinoyeh Sween I have a 4hp shop-vac. Thats 4 extra horse thrown into me engine ahhahahahah

  • congratulations, you made an electric leaf blower...

  • 1 bar lol that thing isnt going to make 14psi ... ahahhaha

  • Dude BOV on real turbo will pop this baloon faster then that fan, not saying that real turbo would fly out of your hand. Thumb up guys!!!

  • we had a saab with an electric turbo. lol

  • if this part dont dry your hair, at least you ...

-will get a nice cold or...

-will save on next children party.....inflate ballons yourself..

    sorry just kidin'

  • awesome hair dryer!

  • being made of plastic i would be scared putting that on my engine for fear of it imploding bits of plastic into my engine

  • do you guys recomend this electric supercharger??? i have jetta 03 and i wanted to install an electric supercharger,,,,,am i goning to see some improves in my car??

  • the idea behind the electric supercharger is that there is no need use Horsepower to make horsepower, Most Superchargers (Vortech V1) takes about 50 Horsepower to be used but outputs about 300HP so your actual HP is 250 gain roughly. the electric supercharger doesnt put a drag on the engine. Now I personally wouldnt put this on my RX8 I have a Vortech V1 installed because its what i wanted. but for all the rice poppers out there that use the fake BOV on the exhaust tips this is perfect

  • isnt that a turbo !!!!!!!

  • Wow...a supercharger hair dryer...

  • Nice hair dryer

  • PLEASE tell me you put that on your car

  • This could add some moderate power to a smaller engine - at lower revs. You have to determine at what point you want the power to appear, and ensure that the air delivered is much more than the engine would pull naturally at that point.

If you want an extra bump under full load at 1800-3000 RPM, a 2.5L engine would need something like a 750 CFM push to see a 10 HP increase at 1800 RPM, and 3500 CFM AT 3000 RPM. Torque should be easier, though.

    -

Would help the engine feel more than anything.

  • @looncraz I don't think I've ever seen a turbo that put out 3500 CFM. We talkin' turbojets here?

  • @HondaKillerG Yeah... typo. Should of been 300 - 500 (3/500). 3500 would be some crazy flow!

  • will it speed up as you accelerate!? or willit blow full blast all the time!?

  • You do realize that 1Bar is about 15psi or so? It takes a massive amount of air to feed an engine 15psi at high rpm and WOT. I haven't seen a practical electric supercharger yet that has enough power to move enough air to make much of a difference.

  • definately not a hater here, but if this is an old motor from say a router,it'll probably do about 15000 RPM tops, while a real turbo would do about 2-3 times as much. You need a higher RPM motor,or design and make a prop that displaces much more air,but that would be hard.In my opinion, your set up would give more HP on a car,but not as much. You'd need a sliding lamp dimmer,or something like that, working alongside the throttle of the car,to control the RPM of the turbo,as well.Nice build.

  • @dutchy1176 A real turbo does about TEN times as much rpms as this piece of crap, not 2 or 3 times.

  • lol, fail

  • Looks like a blow dryer..

..and took forever to blow up a balloon.

  • I will buy 1, 4 my mountain bike...

    sweat a lot you know...

  • Nice Blow dryer

  • where did you buy that?

  • This is for your briggs & stratton push lawnmower right? I don't think it's enough power for a self propelled. :P

  • hahaha what a joke you cant have pressure of a real turbo with that blowdryer

  • .think of this as a cai with help.cant be worse than cai by it self.

  • even better just route your a/c duct/ vents into the intake and then you can have a true cold air intake and adjustable turbo all in one! LMAO get a life

  • leaf blower

  • @qxvmx YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO SMART.......... HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THAT

  • @djfantom205 i was a joke like this device

  • Funny, did you acutally try it on some engine? Car/bike?

  • take that idea, it's a good one...... add some gears and a higher torque motor. spin the impeller about 4 times faster, with the gear ratio. and control the speed of the motor with a TPS sensor. but then again real turbos are the most efficient. of well, I tried.

  • I also thing it's good idea just little modifications

  • @jtmagicman25 this would work but not for bigger displacement of engines, maybe small for cylinders or 3, it can give some what of a power, from a 1.5 up to maybe a 2.0,but either way it will boost minimal, there is a probability of small hp but just to boost acceleration but then it would be useless in the end.

  • that Kindaaa.. looks like an AC motor... iI might be wrong though.

  • i'll take neine of them ;

  • if you'll take nine of them then you gonna need five more batteries on your trunk and much thicker wires. or it's gonna burn all your wires and speed controllers.

  • Haha go the bilge pump GO SON! Fuckwit.

  • it takes far less than 1psi to blow up a balloon. PLUS, what is the air flow. did you see how long it took to blow up that small of a balloon? 50cfm? so, it might help a 50cc engine like on a mini bike, but not a car!

  • fraid i gotta chip in here. Unless you're using a forceflow X4, those blower motors are only good for air con.

  • GlowMouse the force flow does not work. Its obvious you know nothing about making boost. Force Flow is a model air plane fan. How is a model air plane fan going to make boost its a restriction in your intake cutting off the airflow.

  • This example here is more likely to produce boost than a force flow.

Read up on scalability of axial compressors. They are extremely inefficient in small sizes... Although it is supposed to produce boost, the force-flow isn't even an axial compressor. Just a single stage axial fan. No compression = no boost.

  • @scrfce123 It's a centrifugal design, not axial. Axial=straight line flow. Think turbofan engines. Centrifugal=circular flow. Think turbocharger/early gas turbine engines.

  • Comment removed

  • @HondaKillerG Actually, I just remembered - at the time of writing, the Force-Flow was one of the leading electric superchargers. It was an axial design - a fan, more or less...

  • ur map sensor will only run at sea level or 0 psi on a N/A even if u forced 20psi down the pipe. It will only stall.

  • lol hahaha struggles to blow up a balloon! lol

  • were can i get 1 of theses

  • these electric "superchargers " are a joke...save your money and buy some real performance mods

  • sounds like a hair dryer -.-

  • because it pritty much is

  • dude it gives u alot of pwer for 50 bucks man ..lol

  • Haha yeah flows more air which makes 3hp and then the power it pulls from the Alternator which takes 5 hp from the motor...haha what a joke if it actually made hp why wouldnt manufactures use them, b/c they dont work lol

  • This xit works like hear dryer

  • great demonstration with the balloon... im sure it has many clowns interested :P

  • HAHAHAHA! Epic pwn!

  • @theflash555 ROFL CLOWNS HHEHEHEHHE

  • @theflash555

its just proving the static pressure

  • oh cat got your tongue

  • wow lmao okay me too

  • lmao no i dont wanna see a trans am that you found on the net keep em to yourself

  • lol whatever who poses for driving a 97 intrepid you prob dont even have wheels let alone a car

  • lol what do you drive and my mommy doesnt have a car and how am i rice i have big 6 banger no wing no aftermarket part accept for cold air lol id probly woop your ass anyway

  • i dont care what you want suk my dick i drive a chrylser intrepid es 3.5ltr 24 valve so like my crack

you want pictures suk my dick you really think ill go take pics and upload em 4 u lol

  • what man stfu you youtube ballz salesman im not interested so go fuck your mother and sister at the same time who the fuck are you to say shit like that go pay a mechanic you dumb sheep

  • whatever makes you happy

  • YUP IM A MECHANIC

  • LOL I KNOW EH

  • NO BUT A P FLOW WOOD BE MORE AFFECTIVE

  • ive never said that im a mechanic i know the more air the better but put a fan that turns 2000 rpm and blows 3 psi when your throttle is wide open it sucks more then the little fan can blow so its restricted theirfor electric turbos dont always work i know more air the better

  • at full throttle the car doesnt try to gulp more air then that

  • i'm sorry but watching how fast is inflating that balloon it won't provide enough air for the engine... aspirated engine sucks more air than this ''super-mega-electric-charger'' can provide so it's going to be useless.

  • guy how did you make that? i need to give my mud truck a little boost....for cheap

  • i thought it was a hairdryer with a tube on t

he side of it at first

  • how many cfm does it pump ?

  • does this crap really work?

  • Oh and not forgetting the blower is antilag technology hehehe.

  • In fact I have tested a blower with a TD04 the blower was blowing more air at top rev as compared to a TD04 at about 6k RPM. Having said that my car is just a small 16 valve 1.3L. Should be different on a higher powered engine.

  • My design will work when finished because of simple thoughts to this.

I have an audi turbocharger which i have split to just the intake half, instead of using the exhaust half i am running a motor (not going to give away secrets) capable of spinning at the same speed as the turbo would be on a car, without draining the battery faster than the alternator can charge it.

I am aware that the motor's speed and strength is measured when free, and a turbo spins under resistance. Ive accounted for it.

  • a real turbo would have blown that ballong to hell within 1 sec!!

  • Shweet...This is the next thing I'm putting onto my Accord...These guys who commented on this video don't know what they're talking about...Its nothing but the size of the engine to them...I guess that's why Americans are the top consumers of oil =D...lmao!...This video forgot to add that there's a switch kit that goes along with the supercharger...so it spools up when you push on the gas like a real supercharger attached to the cams...Don't underestimate it...It was made for people on a budget.

  • id dry my hair with it. thats it!

  • These things are a waste, they are not capable of making boost.

  • what a narrow minded thing to say. It might be illogical but If it were engineered correctly of course they could. Take a traditional supercharger housing and power the compression movements with a high output electric motor. It could in theory make as much boost as the supercharger would traditionaly

  • Lol, hairdryer...

  • these are a waste of money!! There is no way a pos fan can move enough air to create boost. they would have to flow like 300cfm and they dont, more like 70, u just wasting hp

  • No, they can flow about 200-300cfm depending on model, problem is they can't create much pressure really...

  • I hope you didn't pay real money for this!!!!

  • Put that on your car and put up a video if it breaking apart and all the little plastic pieces going inside your motor. That would be so cool!

  • my girlfriend would love this! dried hair in an instant.

  • LOL!!

  • Can somebody explain the difference between CFM and PSI? I mean, I do understand the dif, but if e.g. a 3lt engine sucks about 1.5lt/revolution, then sucks 4,500lt=4.5cuM @ 3,000rp/m, i.e. 158cf/m, why such a bilge blower isn't sufficient for (some) overpressure if it's e.g. 200cfm-rated? (I know axial fans are no good for pressure but thought "mouse-cage" blowers are?). Or provide some link maybe? Thanks.

  • CFM is Cubic feet per minute as in how many cubic feet something will move in one minute. PSI is pounds per square inch as in how many pounds of pressure is place on square inch of area. One is volume, the other is pressure.

  • Thanks, I now understand that the amount of air they can move in a restriction-free operation does not mean that they can move the same amount if there's some restriction, i.e. these can't create much pressure (although they seem approapriate with regards to for cmf). Anybody has ever measured how much pressure can these boat-thingies really create??

  • yeah nice leaf blower maybe, not going to help you much under the hood

  • 2L engine sucks 0.5L of air in one turn of a a crank, that means it must provide a flow of at least 2500L per minute (2,5cubic meters) @5000RPM and hold pressure at 1bar at that kin a flow!

  • That will dry your hair in no time

  • This device will cause your engine to lose power not gain it. Looks like junk.

  • people just dont know how much air ur car sucks in at wide open throttle

  • not a balloon, a plastic baggie.

Do you have any idea what 1 bar is?

Thats 14.7psi my friend! There is no way that this can produce this kind of pressure and air flow. You have to be able to blow up 2 trash bags in 1 second to feed a small engine, let alone make any pressure.

  • ITS NOT WORTH IT. these things you can buy off of E-bay. They say 6psi boost and up to 25HP gains. However when you get your unit and read the box (if you get a box)on the back its rated for CFM(cubic feet per minuet) and is not measurable for PSI. It restricts air flow rather than compress the air. Don't believe me still? try using a vacuumed cleaner motor and compare it to that, seeing as most shop vacs are rated at about 6psi suction and they are far more powerful.

  • 1 bar? what gives you that crazy idea?

this would slow a car down if you put it on the intake

  • were did you get this ?

  • hi where did you get the blower from would like to purchase 1

  • lets seet it blow up a plastic baggie

that would be 3psi (1/5th of a BAR)

this is no way 1 bar. plus the air flow rate is no where even near the requirements of a normal automobile engine
