its definately a goldfish...cuz i caught one last summer wit a fly pole....ive seen many swim near the boat too. But its too bad fish and wildlife is gonna drain that lake in august.
Goldfish are a subspecies of carp. So carp would be correct. Goldfish are actually domesticated crucian carp. They are typically grey or green in the wild. I wouldn't expect an orange one to be wild. Could be a goldfish.
