"It was all started by a mouse." The Disney Channel seems to be completely ignoring this quote on purpose. Do they like making trash aimed at tweens that much? If it weren't for Disney Channel's transformation into a Nickelodeon/MTV clone, I would still be a fan of it right now (same thing with Toon Disney, now the god-awful Disney XD, thank god for Phineas and Ferb though). I thank John Lasseter of Pixar for taking over their animation division for reminding them of their heritage.

He didn't abandon Oswald. Walt was fired and the company he worked for owned all the rights for that character. He had no other choise then to go back to the drawing board and work on something new. A certain house mouse inspired him :o

alot of early Disney was just war promotion and advertisements. Disney put messages in the short films to support war efforts.

Wait it really started with a mouse or a rabbit? My family went to Hollywood studios and went on a show that was like this and they said the first disney creation was Oswald the Lucky rabbit but someone bought the rights to it so then he came up with mickey.

it's so bad that people these day's (most of them) lost the magic in them.

i'm 14, and everytime i hear something about Disney, I feel bright, alone of hearing of him. my friends laugh at me, and they make jokes about stupid things like, like,..... stupid jokes. what i mean to say is that children from now aren't really the children they used to be,

this isn't really coming out well, but i hope someone still understands it xD

the most amazing disney celebration will be on the 100th anniversary of the company. it will probably be at walt disney world resort in florida with the largest fireworks ever and thousands of people sing when you wish upon a star and it will probably be broadcasted all over the world live.
