That's a good question. I thought of that while I was at the park. My answer would be that it doesn't count because I'm not buying an item, I'm buying an experience. However, it's a moot point because I'm friends with an employee and she got me in for free. ;)

Oh man. This is great! Not really a punishment at all. More of a pleasure.
Two problems:
1) There's no mall in Lawrence. Hard to believe, but true. Just one other reason this is a great place to live. The nearest mall is about 30 minutes away in Topeka. I'm probably not going to have a chance to get there by Friday, now would I want to make 1 hour car trip just to complete this punishment. Think of the carbon emissions Matt!!!
2) Boombox: Have a CD boombox, but need batteries! Size D! I totally don't want to buy these because they will just get old and never be used again. Hopefully the mall will have a spare electrical outlet.
Thanks Melissa. I also agree that the stuff I bought was pretty dope. But these street vendors weren't selling stuff that they had made. It became pretty clear that there were a few sources of all the clothing and stuff, and they were just employing vendors for the weekend. And I feel pretty confident that those sources were probably ripping off a number of different artists by massively reproducing designs they had no hand in creating. So yeah, I probably deserve some punishment.
I'm just saying, it takes some serious art to come up with the stuff you were wearing on your head. I'm sure you're right about the vendors. But man. The blink, the Obama face. Art. asd;fkjsad;lfkjasd;lfkjsda.

This punishment idea is perfect. You guys look like you had a friggin blast and I can't wait till they actually finish making Hogwarts. I'm sure it will be ace.

That is a freaking awesome punishment. If it goes down in the Cambridgeside Galleria, I will SO be there.
I hope Hogwarts gets a bit more *fanciful* in the upcoming months, which I have no doubt that it will. :)
