The RS absaloutely smoked the R8, RS, is lighter more compact and got more of a kick. The R8 just is all show, and too much cinema. If you got the money and looking to buy an Audi, i'd recomend the Audi TT RS, because the car is just a beast let out of it's cage! (this is just my opinion)

@Rasimbacko2 TTRS is a 5cylinder Turbo with a tune and full catless exhaust. on top of that it's lighter and puts down bigger numbers. All signs point to it being faster. stock for stock, it would be the R8's race.

there is a special version called Megane RS Trophy, its optimized for tracks, especially "Nordschleife" with a Time of 8:07min, its Cayman-S-level, but supercars are faster! but the Megane RS (250PS) takes 8:29min. Hmm, its really not supercar-level. (Golf R 8:23)

@Syakir2004 but if you dont want to go on tracks, this times means nothing! My TTR (3.2T) is incredible fast and i love it as all-day-driving-car and kills carrera S on a straight lane , but on the nordschleife its a bad time for such a power.

take a look: Mercedes E55 AMG (4kg/ps) 8:50min as i remember! on Nordschleife its smoked by Golf GTI but i think E55 its the cooler and faster one.

@Syakir2004 buy an r32 gtr skyline (i have one) or 2jz tt supra both can be modded for fairly cheap and they are extremely fast once you do also the early 2000 model impreza sti's, if your looking for brand new go with with the lancer evolution over the impreza look at the review on top gear the british tv show unfortunatly i don't know much about audi other than the r8 is awsome looking and the tt is used alot in racing

@Syakir2004 yeah the r35 gtr is awesome depnding on your price range man i wish i could afford one but i fyou are looking at spending that kind of money look into the ams alpa 12 r35 gtr it's an upgrade package made for that car that makes it insanely fast close to bugatti fast if not faster, as far as the subaru my brother got the 2012 wrx impreza and i went for a ride in it tonight and it pulls really hard for a 4 cyl single turbo so yeah i would have to say the sti would be a cool choice

@Syakir2004 the difference between the r35 gtr and r32 r33 and r34 gtr is hp there all around 320 hp it's stated there all 280 but that's due to some old japanese agreement

also being a right hand drive car is awesome and the manual shifter, were as the r35gtr has paddle shifters and the 2012 model i think is 540 hp and does 0- 60 in under 3 seconds , but the early model gtr's are highly tunable but you need a shop that knows about them

TTRS has a crap interior, no Audi MMI available, and you're still driving a TT which is the perennial chick car. If you want to go fast in a straight line, get a bike, if you want something fun to drive everyday with all the trimmings.... get an R8 or an S5, S6, S7+ the bike money. Duh.

@performancelosreyes v8 is the best engine its the real r8 engine it sounds way better than the shit v10 with a DOWNGRADED exhaust and the engine itself is downgraded from the lp560 gallardo from 560 to 525 horsepower, the v8 just needs a turbo or supercharger like the vf engineering tuneup for v8 r8.

V8 4.2 is to weak for heavy R8. Try it with V10 5.2 FSI, or supercharge that V8. ;)

However, TT-RS is the king of it's class. It have a great chasis, awesome gearbox and launch control (S-tronic), and high tech brand new hight tech 5 cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine with light vermicular graphite block. This 2.5 TFSI engine is masterpiece of engeneering.
