  • Could you give me a recommendation on a decently priced lower and upper?

  • @GoldenRing1989

    ever heard of a shortdot?

I suggest you do a bit more research on quality accessories before you assume we are talking about the toys you see in online catalogs

  • @GoldenRing1989 LMFAO Playstation 3's???

  • @GoldenRing1989

    great way to go IMO

  • Thanks for the vid very informative

  • lol what can i get for $400

  • The AR-15 was the world's first truly modular rifle. It wasn't even really intended to be, however, the design was modern enough in many other ways, and it has been around for so long, that many innovations have kept it a truly modern and versatile combat and/or sporting rifle. It may not be perfect, but it does a lot of things quite well. If the AR continues to be modernized, as it has in the past, it may be around for a long time to come.

  • @Razorback611 Gotta have both!

  • Very good!

  • @Razorback611 I'm going to get both. It just might take some time.

  • Nice video!

  • absolutely wonderful vid

i feel like im back in school haha

  • Thanks I've been looking for for a good guide. This is a great help.

  • good vid i just bought a RRA last week and have already ordered over $100 in upgrades i shouldnt have to get upgrades since it cost $1000 itself but i heard rock river is top of the line in AR'S

  • Building an AR is soooo much fun. I've done it for $500 and $2500.00. It all depends on what you want and what you have.

  • Anyone know when BCM BCGs will be back in stock? It's the only part i'm missing for a complete BCM rifle.

Also, i considered getting a CMMG .22 conversion kit in the meantime, but then i noticed their complete uppers are $350! Seems to good to be true, is there a catch?

  • the ar 15 is beautiful who wouldnt be happy with just a stock rifle?

  • @MrLoveslittlekids While many can be happy with it, AR-15s are one of the most (if not THE most) popular semi auto on the market. Accessories are pretty much what drives the AR market (and some how justifies a 1000 dollar price tag)

  • @Razorback611

    LOL, sorry about that

  • Fantastic channel, subed

  • i want to build one could i make a state compliant one?

  • Great..I don't want to miss these.

  • Very informative video. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Thanks for sharing.

  • Nice vid. Everyone loves the AR-15. This is going to intrest and inform alot of people. Greate series of vids here. AKs and ARs :-)

  • one of these days i might

  • Also say you have a local store and they don't have the AR15 you want... they can order them for cheaper than you! I got a major dicount on my mossberg when i had it ordered through my local gun store than had they had it in stock!

  • parts bin = win!

  • Complete lower....$375-$600 Complete upper...... $600 -$1500

    Scope/optics $200 - $3000 accessories....$?????

Its a crap shoot... like this guy is sayn'. Where I live, You really have to be careful about every part you buy. All my mags are fixed 10 rd mags..Can't have a detachable magazine, barrel length, if it has anything stamped on the lower you have to read through the ban list and on and on. In some states you are better off buying a complete from a dealer. Make sure its all legit and legal.

  • @dasupa666 were do you live?!?!

  • @1blackdeath51501 A blue state....

  • @dasupa666 , sounds like you need to move, haha

  • @MrSkankaDank Don't I know it!

  • Very informative, G-Webs!

  • spreading the cost out is the best way to do it for sure... !

  • Do you have to get your lower shipped to your FFL because it holds the serial number? Cool overview!

    -Cash

  • @KrazyCash Yes. The lower is considered a firearm.

  • @evh57 Ok cool. Learn something every day!

  • @KrazyCash Yeah, if you are ordering a lower online, you have to have it shipped to a FFL..

Uppers can be shipped straight to your home.

  • Good Vid!

  • M16 means Model 16 which is what the Army called their rifle. AR 15 means Assalt Rifle 15 which is the civilian name for the rifle. The Army was full auto and the civilian is semi-auto.

  • @Gunsmoke00701 Actually AR stands for Armalite rifle.

  • @gearsofwarmad2 yeah armalite was the first one made or the orginal as they say

  • @Gunsmoke00701 I stand corrected. I've been hearing them called assalt rifles for so long that I forgot.

  • I already know how to build an AR and i've watched this video 5 times.

  • delton is a great brand, very affordable and great quality.

  • Nice vid, but what is the difference between an m16 and an ar-15 anyway?

  • Great Video!!!

  • Thanks! I really like these presentations you guys have been doing lately!
