i also detest celebrity culture in art, but there are plenty of, uhm, not pretty artists out there as counter examples. blame mary boone and vanity fair, but don't punish artists who happen to be cute. quality will rise to the top.

I just read about Clemente's show at Deitch project from a blurb in a May issue of that online mag JuiB. It looks like I missed out on a great show; wish I'd read that listing back in May.
