  • Put your man pants on and accept that. By allowing a man and a man to get "MARRIED" it will weaken the very meaning of marriage. What will you say when women want to start marrying their horses, or men their dogs? Will you say ~that they should have that right while weakening what married couples work sometimes 50+ years for? Insanity.

  • Gay people are KNOWN for throwing tantrums. I am not, as a MARRIED WOMAN, impeding on your rights by trying to protect MARRIAGE. You can be legally joined to your partner through a civil union. Why isnt that good enough? Why do gay people want to destroy what "traditional" people have? I do not personally hate anyone, least of all you, but I should not be looked at as evil because you cant understand why I want to protect something I believe in.

  • Here is my comeback.... Faggots are disgusting and they will never be accepted

  • Instead of wasting your time defending faggot why don't you go ask your crack whore mother who is your real father....I'm sure that cunt won't remember cause she was on crack... Faggot are disgusting.. Can you imagine they smell like shit each time they have sex....

  • @hussam0ntreal At least come up with a comeback that has to do with this video.

  • i find it intolerable that still we have to fight for our right in different parts of the world i am so glad i live in the uk where our rights have been recognized for a long time now i really feel for those still living without the rights i have

  • This is a beautiful video, Connor! It shows how deeply personal this 'political' issue is. When the situation trickles down to the point where non-political, middle-income Americans are inspired to attend rallies, then there is real hope of fighting this injustice.

Like he said, it shouldn't even be an issue!! Politicians are debating the right of Americans to discriminate?!

PS - Google 'freedom to marry coalition' for more info on the subject.

PPS - make sure you're registered to vote!

  • Stupid faggot ...kill yourself you smell like shit...probably you just had sex hahahahaha

  • @hussam0ntreal Thank you for pointing out exactly WHY gays need full rights under the law. So scum-suckers like you no longer feel empowered to make such hateful comments to other human beings. Even murderers on death row can get married, but loving partners in a commited relationship cannot?! Total B.S.

And no, America, you should not get to vote on extending 'your' rights to other people. Either everyone has them, or no one does. Discrimination is blatently unconstitutional.

  • Banning the expression of someone else's beliefs is worlds different than just holding an opposing viewpoint ... And I don't think it's inconsistent for someone who doesn't support gay couples marrying (on religious or other grounds) to also oppose amendments banning it. America is supposed to be land of the free right? Why shouldn't gays, gay friendly supporters, priests, etc. be able to have and exercise their beliefs too?

  • where i live 82% want gay marriage to be legal and 67% want gay adoption these figures are rising but our goverment wont let people vote on the issue and arent even considering it! please tell me im not the only one going, WTF??

  • the world is fucked!

  • @itsconnorjon:Hi, I remember this vid, it touched me and with this and other messages you affected me greatly. Whatever about the validity of all our exchanges I want you to know that I miss writing....deeply. I wish you would continue. Jack.

  • America claims to be equal and free, yet the people like you and I are surrounded by limitations inequality everywhere we go. America needs to start living up to the ideas it promised ALL it's citizens from day one. I'm an American, but I've never been free.

  • honestly in my opinion i think they trying to ban gay marriage because it all goes back to the bible and how the country used to go by the bible. this is supposed to be a country of freedom religion. they making gay marriege illegal because they think it goes against the bible. and honestly i think thats complete bull shit. they trying to make you as a gay man abide by they religion and that goes against the 1st amendment. and i support gay rights.

P.S im not gay nor have i ever will or been gay

  • @cucubananas You sound pretty gay. JUST KIDDING!!

Thanks for your support of gay rights. the issue is this: "Marriage" is NOT a religious issue. It is a CIVIL right, meaning a right conferred by the law of man. The legal rights of marriage do not come from the ceremony, but from the signed contract.

If churches don't want to wed same sex couples, FINE, who cares? But they must not be allowed to keep consenting adults from forming a marriage under civil law. Equal rights for all.

  • I've been out for 29 years and it has gotten much much better but there are still stupid nosey people out there. What I've learned is to just surround myself with positive supportive people. Everyone doesn't have to like or approve of me.

  • It's disappointing that you get less and less attractive. I understand that you receive your confidence from the multitude of creeps online who tell you how "cute" you are but I think you need some honesty. You're average, at best. And that's being generous, truly. And your odd behavior and bitchy attitude take you from the middle percentage of gay males to far below that. Cut the crap, stop acting like a nut job, clean yourself up, and learn how to be humble.

  • @ryanthebromo017 Who the hell are you to judge others? You're acting as bitchy as you claim he is. This a very sincere and heartfelt message on an important subject, and all you want to do is tear someone down? I think you "need some honesty." Here it is: Get a life and STFU.

  • @olyguy2000 Do you feel valiant or heroic standing up for someone you don't know on Youtube? If it were a situation in which I made my comment to him in person (which I would be glad to do) you would do absolutely nothing, I'm sure. I appreciate someone speaking up about issues like this, but I prefer them to be articulated in a way that others can respect, and come from someone who deserves to be heard. Not a self-centered, uneducated idiot.

  • @ryanthebromo017 Do you feel like a big man bullying someone you don't know on Youtube? I guarantee you if I witnessed your bullying in person, I would do more than absolutely nothing. You'd realize it when you woke up in the fetal position crying like a little girl. But bullies never learn. You must live a very sad, self-righteous life judging other people from your bedroom. Why are you even watching videos of gay guys and calling them unattractive? Seriously, bro, get a life.

  • Thank you for sharing your story and being so genuine. The tide will move toward kindness and fairness if we all keep being strong and brave. You will help inspire others to do the same.

  • U R cute

  • oh my gawd. SEXY!

  • Ye have beautiful eyes

  • I can see your point entirely, and I do agree with you, but something which I can't completely understand is how the United States, and my home country of Australia, call themselves "secular" but politicians etc. use religion as a reason for not allowing same-sex marriage. I understand that marriage is religious, however I believe in our modern world, marriage is more of a legal recognition of a relationship than a religious recognition...

  • it's sad you had to taste the hate from those religous bastards. Don't forget to vote against there hate, that's our tool.

  • I really agree with the points you make. On a sidenote, my gosh you're good looking!

  • I agree and Thank You for standing up the gays rights and ill help you too.

  • I agree and thank you for standing up for gay rights for all

  • Your face is way too distractive.

  • There is no reason for a vote. Yes I am straight though I support same sex marriage. The constitution specificly the 9th amendment says the fovernment can not take rights away from one group of poeple and leave a nother group with the same right. For a ban on same sex marriage to be legal acording to the constitution than the government would have to ban all marriage straight included.

  • SO TRUE.. THEY ARE TREATING US LIKE ANIMALS CANT GIVE BLOOD, HARD AS HELL TO ADOPT KIDS, DONT WANT US IN THE MILITARY, CANT GET MARRIED. NEXT WILL BE CANT VOTE OR DRIVE I SEE IT KNOW

  • BRILLIANTLY SAID !!!!

  • You're exactly right, Connor. Keep up the good fight.

  • Minnesota is one of the dumbest States in the Union! I love your videos.

  • You are awesome :)

  • You did the right thing by showing up! The more people that SHOW UP sends a message that there are a large enough number to matter to the people that run for office. As barbaric as it sounds the only thing we are to them is a "vote". Right is. right and wrong is wrong. This is a civil rights issue. What is legal for one American should be legal for ALL Americans. It is that simple. All Americans should have the right to marry the person of their choice.

  • Connor, stupid homophobic bigots do not like anything or anyone who is different from themselves. They want everyone to fit the "NORM" as they see it. They want everyone to follow the HERD. They are afraid and it is so silly, and pathetic.

  • They don't believe in freedom outside of what white, straight, well-off people normally want to do with their lives.

If you don't fit into that mold they don't see why you should exist, much less have rights. At the same time other minorities like blacks are too busy thumping their bibles to have much solidarity with us.

It seems to me that's the mindset underneath the veneer of this "free" country we live in.

  • My husband and I have been together for 10 years. I don't know if we'll be together for the rest of our lives, but I do know this; my relationship has outlasted the heterosexual marriages of my sister (6 years), cousin (7 years), cousin (5 years), best friend (8 years), neighbor (5 years), brother (4 years), aunt (6 years), uncle (7 years), brother-in-law (3 years, 1 year and 2 years), nephew (4 years). If you're keeping score -- like I am -- gays CAN stick it out and suffer through a marriage.

  • I also live in MN and I've attended rallys for the same reason and I am gay im not against them

  • They have nothing better to do than hate and ask for money.

  • I personally love that our Constitution states that there needs to be separation between church and state and the entire gay rights issue is a matter of religion - - I don't understand why religion should affect any laws being passed in this country. People are so ignorant. No one has the right to tell a person who they can love/marry.

Next we should pass a law saying that you can only be happy on Tuesdays.

  • I see your point of view and I agree with you a 100%.

  • They don't hate you, they hate themselves. People project their own self hatred onto other people to make themselves feel better.

  • Just letting you know, that your beautiful [:

  • where i live 58% of the people voted in favour of civil unions. but this still means that 4 out of 10 people don't want me to be happy and live my life. people who are stupid enough to vote against other people's rights shouldn't even have the right to vote.

  • @TheTiemo2 go have gay buttsex in hell

  • Planet Earth.

  • I totally agree with you . Xx

  • i love you
