Sure he's a good performer. Nickelback performs good too. But their music sucks. And so does James Durban's. That's within the framework of true, down to earth, organic, real rock and roll music. This is just like most of the shitty music on modern rock radio. His record label probably told him to dress like that. He's just a puppet regurgitating whatever his label and producers tell him to. Justin Bieber is talented too.
