  • mabye except for Bruce Lee's jin kun do, or however you spell it, that is.

  • after watching anderson silva and lyoto machida kick dudes in the face, they showed me that tae kwon do is by far the most exciting of all the asian fighting styles. what other martial art exhibits jumping and speed based strikes so much? too bad most tkd moves leave the aggressor open to counters if they miss.

  • 1:03 ...ONE BAD ASS AXE KICK . . . .

  • LOL i love how the first clip is of a guy getting his has sack kicked XD

  • this gay ass music and unpractical high kicks with NO defense is what made TKD die in the face of the greatest art, Gracie Jiu Jirtsu.

  • These people would high kick your ass all the way back to your dojo where your teacher would then inform you you that there is no greatest art and anyone who says so is a moron asking to be knocked out.

  • LMAO! No one, and I mean NO ONEEEE takes TKD seriously except pathetic hold outs like you and little kids. No one can take TKD into an MMA octogan or ring and do well, I would wait for the stupid high kick to fly past me at a snails pace, back away and grab your ass take you to the ground and destroy you.

  • Please, for the sake of your dignity don't start a youtube threat, they're lamer than your 'greatest art' comment. I don't do TKD so please have your fantasies about someone else.

How many TKD schools have you walked into and challenged? None? yeah thought so.

I have a huge amount of respect for bjj and the Gracies, they're awesome, but even when they took on other martial arts it wasn't to prove they were the best it was to prove that every martial arts practioner needed ground confidence

  • I never threatened you, you were talking shit, so I told you what would happen. It was a prediction, not a threat, so relax and stop pissing your pants. I would walk into a TKD school if any of them still existed.

  • TKD doesn't exist anymore? wow, you're so terrified of getting your ass handed to you that you deny they exist? that's priceless.

  • it is relegated to strip malls and done by little kids, it's a joke.

  • And no one can take pure bjj into an octagon or ring and do well, they always need some striking training nowadays and where do you think that comes from? TKD, muay thai, karate, boxing are all essentially the same principal movements. it all depends on your quality of training.

continue your training kiddo, you'll figure it out sooner or later.

  • Paolo Filho has done well being a pure BJJ guy his striking skills are nonexistant, Royce did it with pure BJJ, the only time BJJ loses in MMA today is because the other guy is a better BJJer or the BJJ guy wanted to try to stand and box.

  • just looked up Paolo Filho vs. melvin manhoef and that was pure bjj vs. a very hard hitter so I definitely agree that pure bjj can still cope nowadays but Royce Gracie's victories were when bjj had little or no respect and royce showed them what it could do. had royce never had the respect to watch what tkd, kung fu or karate could do he would never have developed his entrances to avoid the strikes and then gotten knocked out.

  • as soon as you discount a martial art as weak or slow you close your mind and open yourself up to a beating.

  • lol this is such an ignorant comment. but u think wut u want

  • Show me where TKD has been successful in a real situation or MMA. Show me all the militaRY AND POLICE FORCES USING tkd FOR SELF DEFENSE.

  • the korean army has been training taekwondo along with judo as part of their self defense training dateing back since the korean war. dont be a little prick and say that when u fight ur gunna use a spinning hick kick, that just shows u how dumb u r, do some thinking please. YES, tkd is a point sport, yes, tkd does have unrealistic fighting kicks, but how could u honestky say that it doesnt work. look up serkan yilmez. a WTF practioner and a successful mma fighter. look past the ufc dumbass

  • The Korean army might say they incorperate TKD as a nationaistic way of supporting their home sport, but let's be real, it's not goingto be a practical MA for the field. Oh, and I looked up your TKD guy, apparently he uses more boxing and kickboxing style strikes in MMA not onl;y that but he's also 3-7 in K-1 fights. I mean, this proves my point, the style can't hold up to a real fight. I mean 3 wins in 10 fights, laughable.

  • Anderson Silvia, black belt in TKD.

  • Wow, where DO I begin with this one? Anderson SIlva started TKD at 14 and earned a black belt at 18. WWith that said, do you EVER see him use TKD style kicks in MMA? NOOOOO! You see his EXCELLENT muay thai, that is the style he's kn own for, not this crap. He's earned a black in BJJ Judo, a black band in muay thai. and even a yellow rope in capueira which he's used ONCE that I know of with a kick. Stop talking shit.

  • Except that brillants knouckout with an axe kick, if you studied actual TKD and not based your knowledge of competition videos, you would be able to see many TKD influenced moves from them,

Haha go look it up, I don't need to prove anything to you, hell they showed it on TV once, something on the history channel about it.

  • Um, excuse me, but TKD didn't invent the ax kick. Your style is shit, it lacks defense, it lacks realism, all the flying kicks, and stupid useless and powerfless switch kicks mean nothing. You want to score points, and that's the object of this GAME. Get it through your head MMA uses certain MAs Wrestling, Muay Thai, boxing, even judo is now making it's way and it's DESTROYING people, and finally, the be all and end all, BJJ Gracie kicked your asses out of business.

  • So then why does TKD teach its students how to kill?

The object of the art is to simply destroy, break bones, etc...

You must be of little common sense, you can punch and throw down people all you want, but when you get close to me all it takes is one hit and you are dead.

    Game over kiddo.

  • AHAHAHAHAHA! THe old "I can't show you because it will kill" gag.LMAO!The Gracies proved that was bullshit.Have you seen the Gracie challenges? The Gracies asked their opponents to go all out, and most did.The FACT is that death touches and lethal blows are bullshit. You can kill someone with a punch to the throat, but how hard is that?VERY!Plus you'd need a flush punch. How do you know it will kill?, have you ever Killed anyone?NO!I doubt you have. How do you know it will work?

  • I couldn't show you?

When did I ever say that?

No, hitting someone in the throat and breaking the trachea is quite easy, thus the hidden teachings of many instructors and masters.

Now I don't need to kick to the throat to kill, I don't even need ot punch, its all just a little bit of pressure, or a good palm upwards into your nose, pushing the cartilage into that speck of a brain you have, hell I know more.

Keep in mind I was a previous operater for the MARSOC, I think I know about combat.

  • Seriously dude?I suggest you look at the video Army Rangers doing jiu jitsu or something like that. THe guy says, "how do you know this move will break a man's neck? have you ever broken someone's neck? Know somone who broke someone's neck?" THe Gracies have broken arms, I broke a guy's foot accidently, and have had my elbow nearly broken. You TKD death touches are bullshit.

  • No they aren't just death touches, but I dont believe you would know what MARSOC is anyway, seeing that your probley had to google it or use wikipedia, anyhow... I am a joke, hahah ok sir whatever.

I have done my fair share of breaking, including having my bones broken, but they are just bones and will heal, fight stoppers, but not life enders, you talk so much mess but could never back it up...

I would be sorry to be someone like you sir, I really would be.

  • Actually I do know what MARSOC, many of the guys who train with me are marines. I can count 8 off the top of my head and they all speak of Marine MA sort of jokingly. I have the most respect for Marines and all who serve, but the truth is the MA taught there is very general. I find it hard to believe that a MARSOC man can't spell PROBABLY correctly.

  • Look dude, let me put it to you this way. If you and I fight and I know NOTHING and you know TKD and the fight stays on it's feet I would bet money you win. TKD shows you kicking, and some foot work which is better than nothing. Put TKD up against Muay Thai or western boxing and it doesn't stand up.

  • Doubt it...

That is the common misconception, Tae Kwon Do is the way of the fist and foot...as it says in the title, it teaches not only basic boxing, but throw downs, acts of submission, lethality, kicks, elbows, palms, knees, eye gouging, arm breaking, groin destroying, thraot smashing etc...

Its 2,000 years of warrior arts in one good cup.

And then I woke up? I don't understand what you are trying to say.

  • @spinkicker43 Yeah. People see TKD SPORT sparring and just automatically assume thats all we learn and how it would be applied to in real life... which is false.

  • Well, I study TKD, and I broke the dudes jaw who tried to jump me and steal my ipod with four of his buddies, I was walking the pipeline alone when he asked me for my ipod, I said no turned around and he ran after me, so then I punched him then side kicked him in the jaw and it broke in and stuck out of his cheeks.

He was a big black guy and his other friends just stared, then dragged him away.

Im only 14 lol...but it shows TKD works.

  • And then you woke up.

  • Wow, I totaly had to think about that to understand, well the way I see it you are gravely mistaken, I could go all the way with citing the legal documentation but Im not in the mood, your arrogance amuses me, so please share your stupid views and opinions with the rest of the world.

Or better yet, correct me on my spelling.

  • OK Bruce Leroy

  • Nah, its Blacki Chan, but ok mr. I have a stick so far up my ass it itches my little brain.

  • You must be real proud of yourself talking so much trash but never actually doing anything, its typical keyboard warrior.

State your belt rank, dojo, and Instructor/Master/Grandmaster and then we can really start talking.

It's obvious you have never been in an actual fight, painfully obvious.

You speak of competition, I speak of real life, it's a sad world we live in when people think they know shit about everything, ever think Martial Arts isnt your fortea Mistro?

  • @spinkicker43 Puple belt, Performance jiu jitsu Fair Lawn New Jersey. Instructor is Louis VIntaloro black belt under royler gracie. Talk shit mother fucker.

  • The Security Contractors and protective forces use TKD as their main object of self defense, but hell your as about as stupid as they get huh?

I could bring up boat loads of stories when TKD has helped me in fights, and when it has helped me with my daily life.

  • I'm AS about as stupid as they come? Learn to speak English before you come around calling ME stupid, you fucking idiot. Show me a document where security contractor use TKD. Which sec contractors? Where? That's too general. The US military uses what as their main form of self defense? BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU! Sorry, you lost this one too. Most sec contractors in Iraq are what? Former marines and soldier, IDIOT! You lose again, fucking bufoon.

  • DUDE I just looked at this video again and ALL I see are two idiots fying around kicking each other. No defense, no hand postures, NOTHING. Just wildly looking to score a kick. Spare me.

  • Secondly, MY BADDD I spelled a word wrong or what ever the fuck your ranting about, truly does show character when the only dirt you have on someone is if they are typing with broken fingers... and use wrong grammer. it sure beats the hell out of using Word Check.

You must be a fucking idiot not to see the lethality incorporated into the moves of TKD,

from one hit kills, to submission, everything, if anyone is the fucking bufoon sir it is you.

    Educate yourself please.

    SPARE ME the pain.

  • YOUR is your YOU apostrophe RE is a contraction of you are. Your stupid SPORT is a watered down version of Jap karate. It has never proved itself. Anyone who has a TKD background uses boxing, muay thai, or even jap karate, NEVER that bullshit mcdojo crap. You keep teaching little kids and stealing their money you stripmall sensei.

  • But until you post a video of you beating up some other 3 year old who takes TKD kiddo...you can just shut the hell up and reflect on your pure stupidity.

This conversation is over, your argument is null, void, and an ass wipe of society like you should find something constructive to do with his life.

Working at Mcdonalds is my best suggestion for you.

But like I said, game over, zilch, nothing, nada, just leave the video, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

  • And until you post a video showing YOU defending yourself with that shit art you stupidly devoted your pathetic life to, you should shut the fuck up. You lost and now you want to run away from the argument. Go run you little bitch. And for the record, I own two businesses, a residential in NY-FUCKING C and a catering business. So fuck your mother, bitch.

  • Hahha there is no running, im not claiming my art is the best, Im not claiming anything, that's exactly why YOU aren't going to challenge anyone, you are scared, so you attempt to teach yourself moves by watching youtube videos, but anyhow, go post a video of you taking a powerless switch kick, its kinda obvious you have never experienced a fight with TKD so until you do, and post credible proof of you destroying the person, your argument is pointless.

  • @spinkicker43 You want me to stand in front of a bullshit switch from TKD to prove how powerful it is? What will that prove? I say use your switch in a real fight with me and see if it gets you anywhere. Now the THAI switch is strong, it's set up, it's used with power, you don't look like a dick throwing it.

  • This just proved your IQ level, oh man, this made you look horrible...only an idiot who is inexperienced would just say what you just said.

Please reflect on your last comment, it really made me start balling on the ground.

  • OHHHHH BOYYYYYY which comment? Sorry Mr. MARSOC. LMAO! What a joke. I want to pretend to be someone too. I'm Helio Gracie himself.

  • Allright, I served in Second Battalion in Iraq from 07-08, as a MSOR I was then honorably discharged because of several wounds I received, but it's so easy to say things over the internet, who knows I could be lieing, but why should I tell anything to some random dude who's only point in life is to piss people off?

  • this is a great highlight clip....nice clips!!

  • close call at 0:44

  • best highlights i;ve ever seen. good job.

    PS. what's the song's name ?

  • flama by luna bianca

  • lolx. most of them are able to stand after getting kicked straight in their faces. weird.

  • well theyre probably used to being kicked like that LOL

  • This is a really cool highlight!

  • shit this is.... extreme, really nice kicks

  • goddamnnn 2:06

  • I love the way everyone backs away instead of moving in so that they continue to be in kicking range. The title of this should be the way of the foot. No one kept a hand up to protect their head let alone used one in an attack.

  • well I definitely agree how Tae Kwon Doe is suppose to represent hands as well as feet but they do not use their hands at all, it is weird but in sparring competitions the whole idea of the fight is evading, there is a block in Tae Kwon Do but is only really used in the outside world, inside its all about countering with a kick of your own, it has also come to clear to me that if you use your fist to block or punch you will not score any points, only kicks score points.

  • when i did taekwondo i was taught to block and counter with my legs, obviously hands aswell, but i thought the leg part was a little weird. though it was effective.

  • most fighters tend not to use their hands much, but u should see servet tazegul and hyon lee, recent great fighters ive seen use their hands, alot.

  • Very good compilation

  • Awesome highlights.
