Im a GSP fan also, but the GSP fans who say he'll never fight Silva because of the weight difference, truly make you respect guys like Royce Gracie who regularly destroyed fighters much larger than him. For example, when Gracie was to fight Dan Severn who weighs over 260, he didn't say, " I need to think about it as it is a big career change & and I need about a year to put on weight, blah blah blah...." He said lets do. Silva too has dominated 185 & 205 twice, whereas GSP doesn't leave 170??

@bdalani1985 I think the level of competition has raised now to the point where weight classes should evolve. Despite that, I think GSP realizes that he is not only smaller but his skill level is less than that of Silva, so there is no incentive to fight him aside from money.

@bdalani1985 You are right except Royce was fighting unskilled guys. We saw Royce get dominated by a Matt Hughes who was already past his prime. Royce couldn't have been a top 5 guy at 170 these days. He introduced the world to BJJ, but now these athletes are better boxers, wrestlers, more athletic and their jujitsu is as solid as Royce . GSP would have killed a prime Royce and I say that with respect for what the Gracies did.

He said that Sonnen and Bisping set the sport back, but he get's in the cage and acts a fool against Damien Mia and Thales Leites. Silva has a bad habit of not being honest and in his interviews and coming across as very sarcastic.
