When I first skimmed thru the list of your videos I was amazed by the amount of gear you managed to accumulate. But after seeing this video I have to admit, that you definitely deserve it. I haven't seen such a good use of all this E-mu junk, and I wish I was able to do something similar in my area... you just rock.
@truebrunorc ---Thanks for the kind words. Glad you liked the video and I hope it gives you some ideas. I never thought I had all that much equipment!
@liverawkstar Junk, crap, stuff, toys, hardware, equipment... call it as you wish. Personally I own Morpheus, UltraProteus, Proteus2000 and MP7. All are awesome and their modulation possibilities are terrific - I only wish E-mu kept filter morphing and function generators in the P2K engine. And while we are discussing the awesomeness of E-mu gear - too bad filter resonance is note-on only parameter, don't you think so?
@MotiveUnknown ....glad you liked the videos. I hope they factored in to your decision to get the Planet Earth. You'll love it....lots more sounds than what I was able to demo in the videos.
I am a guitar player who injured my wrist very bad a year ago, so im getting into lapsteel guitar, and electronic music as well. I always was pretty sure I wanted the "planet earth", but once I heard your video I was sold. I got it now, and I am blown away by it. If you want to hear a track done with just the planet earth that I came up with, check out "Motive Electric" on myspace, the tack is called "Orbit Planet Earth" haha. Thanks again for the great vids
@MotiveUnknown ...just checked out the tune---awesome! Lots of cool Planet Earth sounds---a couple I recognized, a couple I didn't. The vocals fooled me for a second!
awesome!
do you play live with this machines?

@evillano ---Yes, I'm playing live here......just triggering the Planet Earth sounds with the V-Drums (via midi) and blending the two together.

@truebrunorc
emu junk ?
typical opinion-
the emu rompers are very powerful in the hands of someone who actually knows how to program in midi--
this app here with drummer is not even what their designed to do at their potential-
but I'm glad people like you have the attitude they do because it just makes purchases cheap

@truebrunorc ---I don't think I know as much about the equipment as you seem to. I just kinda jam along as I feel inspired.

Love your planet earth video's. I just ordered one on ebay a week ago, and I am stoked to get it big time.
