yes...the bump its hurt your head....there are a million little teeth on them and they dig into your head...you have to take them out after awhile. I got my bump its from ebay for 3.00 free shipping...

Thank you sooo much for doing the how to bump-it and ponytail. I've seen the Bump-it's in Bed, bath and beyond and wondered how well they worked. I don't want to look like that one woman who didn't want to go to rehab, but had to go anyway. Thanks again, I'm going to give it a try tomorrow.

I love the chi flat iron..looks like it works better than what that one is...to get longer lasting results you need to get as close to ur scalp as you can without burning youself..and ur hair shouldnt smoke like that

its not alarming if your hair smokes sometimes, usually that means you just have some kind of product in your hair :)

i love this style and ive have tried doing it with back combing but i it doesnt work and i cant get bumpits in the uk i have looked every where the website dont send them over here and i cant find any on ebay im at a total loss :( is there any other way i could do it ?

the bumpits are okay but when i try to do the ponytail bump, the teeth on the bump it show thru. & then i cant get the thing outta my hair..

The only problem I have with the bumpits is trying to hide it. It stays in place and doesn't move, I actually have trouble taking it off cuz it gets so stuck on my head lol

How does Bumpit stand up on its own? I noticed the "teeth" on top to hold that hair in place, so are teeth on the sides/bottom as you slide it onto the scalp? I'm very interested in this look. *5*

The big one is called the Hollywood Bumpit. I found that when using mine with curly hair I don't need any hair spray but it gets stuck in the curls when trying to remove it LOL.
