I work in a supermarket with a little-acknowledged sign in front that reads "SHIRTS AND SHOES REQUIRED". Nobody says squat about anyone who's shirtless or barefoot. They think because this is Florida,it's perfectly acceptable here,sorry. Think of the floor walked on by thousands of dirty shoes every day and someone's gonna come in barefoot and risk infection or injury.

@arhuxtable I go barefoot all the time and I don't shop in stores that have these signs because they are so unfriendly. I can never figure out why they post them. As for injury--what about the woman who just killed three women in FL because her flip-flop got stuck under her gas pedel I've gone barefoot for more that 50 years and have been injured more often wearing shoes then barefoot!
