Yo, i look at it like this. Everyone has their own style of chopping, slicing, whatever you wana call it. Its just having the ear for them samples, and knowing how to put shit together. Niggas just need to just stop thinking about how people sample their shit. This beat was hot, either way! He basically knows how to chop. It was straight-forward. You also have to keep in mind, the format for the artist. How many bars they going to spit, chorus all that good stuff. Much respect for this!

@worldcreations auto chop is handy as hell as long as your not just getting a loop thats been used 1000 times over then just doing chop to 16 parts then yea thats a lil stale. but that autochop feature is good you can slice a loop to 16 parts or more depending on ur mp model then adjust each part etc etc. i mean i wish my mpc 60 could auto chop it doesnt thats why i love my 2000xl. the equipment has it joys and its flaws all comes down to the user as always lol and you know if its hot its hot !

i got an MPC 1000 too, with 128 MB RAM installed. when i got like a 10 seconds long sample, and i wanna slice it into 16 Regions, it takes a LOT longer for the MPC to come up with the slices, for this guy in the vid, it took about 1 or 2 seconds showing the "Wait......" screen, for me it takes like 1 minute sometimes.... how come?? any ideas?
