What is the difference b/w Asian and Asian American Studies?

The word "Asian" is nonsense when place next to "White" and "Black." The former is a geographical location while the later is Color. search wikipedia for "tan americans" ... it is a hypothetical group which, if accepted as a racial color, would be a dominant (possibly majority) voting group.

I found that there're some goodlooking Asian people in Asian country even though majority people in that region are ugly though.

And it is very very rare case I can find goodlooking Asians in the US.

Why is that?
