I dunno if you figured it out yet since I haven't watched the other parts but the barrels at 0:55 are explosive, just throw your weapon at it as well as propane tanks but be careful, if you're too close it will hurt or even kill you! And you are able to open the door of the gas station eventually, you have to unlock the side quest first, so if a place is locked or something you might have to just find the mission or side quest to get to it.
