They were one of the core inspirations for Absu, besides german thrash trio Destruction, Kreator & Sodom, Bathory, Slayer, Possessed & Incubus.....and Morbid Scream!

Great song from a great album when ABSU was still a great "thrashy" riff-metal band with their obvious "thrashy" roots....

and eventhough old fans would know the song is a sort of re-wash on After the Attack from Kreator, I love the song.

The Third Storm Of Cytraul is one of my favorite albums,Absu is a legendary band,I love their lyrics,and the unique athmosphere of this music. I wish that we more bands like this guys,here in Norway its only Darkthrone and Immortal still going true,the others have either gone avant garde og sold out. Hail Absu!

why, what country are you from? Americans has some great Metal bands. i mean, the newer mainstream stuff is lame, but there are a lot of great new Metal bands out now. to me, European and North American (of course counting Canadian) Metal are the best! not to be a bigot or anything, but Europeans and North American Metal are truly the best!!! non of that mainstream crap though.

Not only are they Americans, but they're from Texas. I saw them live, one of the best shows I have seen so far. Proscriptor is one of the weirdest guys ever, yet he is the best vocalist/drummer.

i've seen them live as well; in fact, it was just a few weeks ago. they were great live! i hope to see them again soon. as for Proscriptor, he is a weird dude but he was really cool when i met him. i really hope i can see Absu again.

I just saw them last weekend, on the rescheduled Ft. Worth show. It was incredible! He said the last time they played D/FW was in 1993 I believe. I could be wrong, but I remember him saying that number...

@udistritalextrema cause Texans can't do more then one thing at once (i.e. walk and chew gum. they're kinda dumb) but their vocalist drums and sings at the same time, a Texan that can multi task. Its a rarity. haha!!!
