I don't get that people refuse to let their pop heroes age gracefully. I just saw this show last night in Primm, Nevada, and give Frankie a great deal of credit for recognizing what he can do best with his 'now' voice. Letting the audience have fun with the 'do-hon't cry-yi-yi' was a stroke of genius. A sold-out arena bopped their butts off!
