@StreaminSOS you get melon seeds in the chests in abandoned mineshafts, nowhere else.

And also I made this melon farm, but for some reason when I flip the switch, the last three melon vines on the left side get destroyed it's quite frustrating

I made this to my base. Tho I used a button with a timer so I only need to push it once. As you said you're going to do to this too. If you could then quickly show the mechanism you came up with. The one I use is somewhat complicated, uses 2 pistons for example, so I would be glad to see an easier method. Thanks.

@kaelfire152 you can use normal pistons on the top to push the melons down. the bottom pistons would be more tough - you could only do one melon row without sticky pistons.

@kaelfire152 no, you'd have to do just one row, and push the dirt to the side, and pull the piston back for the water to flow. then have pistons on the other side to push the dirt back. much better to use sticky pistons imo, unless u have no slimes.

@AquaAnim In 1.0, the melons needed the dirt/soil next to them to be tilled.  Now in 1.1, you don't need that.
