Nja, das Ding hatte auch n Überrollkäfig drin....ich möchte nichts mutmaßen, aber nachdem ich hier auf youtube schon ein Video gesehen hab woe jemand auf das Dach eines Trabis springt und durchbricht, ist die Frage wie das ganze ohne Überröllkäfig ausgesehen hätte!

Personal war in der DDR Mangelware.

So wurde der Trabi auf Beschluß des ZK der SED so gebaut, daß nach einem Umfall das Aufrichten durch Schwerpunktverlagerung ohne Inanspruchnahme wertvoller Abschlepptechnik möglich war.

Damit konnte insbesondere bei schwierigen Etappen des Fünfjahresplanes der Klassenfeind gekonnt ausgetrickst werden, wie hier die Genossen Rallyefahrer eindrucksvoll aller Welt bewiesen haben!

@williamjamesbrown 4-stroke has oil in the crank case or oil pan which is sloshed around or pumped through the engine where as a 2-stroke, the oil is in the fuel so when an engine is upside down on a 2-stroke the oil is not running back into the cylinders and ending up burning out through the exhaust vales. hence the smoke out the tail pipe.
