I'm gonna give such a trivial argument: we managed to send a man to the Moon and we cannot build a slaughterhouse which would really take life way without suffering? We can but what for? Fine, I'll be serious. It's not dead. The neurons inside the brain still contain electrical impulses that still causes muscular contractions due to a thing called "Muscle Memory". I don't accept intentional prolonging of pain, no matter for what purpose. The fact is that not all seafood have developed enough nervous system to feel anything but fish - yes. In the film I see a squid, which is still alive, rather, what I consider to be barbaric, unnecessary "spectacle" for clients' fun .

It seems to be a return to the primitive practice - not what I'ld expect in a modern society.
