My favorite spiderman game is Web of Shadows. Mainly because you get to alternate between the normal suit and the black suit. And both suits have different moves. That was awesome! I hope I get to make a spiderman game. It will have elements of all the previous games and more.

@UltimateChance: Despite not having played Edge of Time yet, I'd give it 10 of 10 just because it's Spiderman and he's by far my favorite super-hero. Plus while I respect your opinion, getting picky about graphics seems kind of shallow. Of course it depends on the system the game is bought for. But perhaps what grabbed my attention most about this game was the whole concept of altering the future. I agree with what you said about the whole movie like feeling in the game. Can't wait to own this.

My favorite Spiderman Game? Good question. I love them all, but my absolute favorite would have to be either Spiderman 2, Ultimate or Web of Shadows. If I had to pick one of those three, I'd have to go with Ultimate. To me it really has a comic book feel about it, especially the artwork, and the cutscenes. It's like watching a comic come to life, and I love Ultimate Spiderman, up until Peter died and was "replaced" by wannabe Spidey, Miles Morales. Lame

My favorite spidey game is definetly Ultimate Spiderman for Ps2. Awesome story, awesome characters and voice acting, Awesome and not-repetive gameplay thanks to shifting between spiderman and venom throughout the game, Awesome comic-book-like visuals and cinematics.Everything was awesome about it!!! Funny you say Spider-Man 2 on PS1 sucked...

That's my favorite Spidey game :(\What's wrong with it? there's more costumes than in any other Spidey Game, the story's pretty cool(something about electro and a jewel), the villains were awesome(Hyper Electro FTW), and the levels had tons of variety between them. Besides the annoying plane level, I can safely say Spider Man 2 PS1 is a badass game and my personal favrite. :D

@thaneros exactly, Josh Keaton. and 2099's voice is Christopher Daniel Barnes, the voice of spiderman in the 1994 TV series. both are amazing voice actors

The best I've played is Web of Shadows, even though I agree with most of the criticism the game got, the gameplay was still fun and in the end of the day, you can have the worst story, the worst voice acting and still be a fun game.

i havent played a spiderman game since #2 and web of shadows(i think thats what its called) but what i liked was the swinging through the city just like in the movies. i didnt see any of that so im guessing they geared spiderman games toward combat instead of the "spiderman" feel. i havent played a spiderman game since two so im not really sure :/

Web of shadows had the best Feel for the combat style of spiderman

Spiderman 2 had the best swinging & open world feel to it

and this one has the best story from what ive seen

As great as this game is I felt the story was too short. A great story-line, but I think more could have been added. Plus, I feel some features in SD could have been in the game to make it better.

I liked practically every Spider-Man game, except "Spider-Man 3" the movie game. I would buy it just to throw it out.
