if f1 had a more even rule base for equipment and car development then we would see some greats emerge and a lot better racing, u cant judge anyone on how they drive coz you dont know how much of the car development goes to them, MSC was a great but only coz he always had great cars, senna is the only 1 i can think of who could take it to the top ones in a sub standard car,

@puddingpants7 Gosh, he completely outperformed Alex Yoong and Ant Davidson over the entire season, not 1 situation where his teammate beat him! Do you have any idea how 'effortlessly easy' that Minardi of 2002 was to drive?! The next year, in, lets say, a Jaguar which was driven well beyond its limits (it was a backmarker team), mark scored two 3rd place grid positions and finished the year 10th with 17 points, while one of his team-mates scored 1 point! The next year, he scored a front row!

Alex yoong is a below par pilot who retired damn near every race he was in and anthony davidson was only in TWO races where he retired both, give it a rest ..." over the entire season " like he accomplished something lol. And once again Antonio pizzonia to mark webber? You can also credit the new points system that was introduced in 2003. He would have scored 3 points if it wasnt introduced.

@puddingpants7 I dont think you're a noob, i just don't see how bad a driver he is....he is still highly underrated, even though, yes, I'll admit it, vettel is faster than him.....Mark has not been completely blown away by Vettel, and I think that his past achievements should be acknowledged....Jenson would be a more undeserving champion than him is Webber took the title this year.

@nitroboost8765 Well when you look at the examples you had thrown out there you can see that they are not so incredible. On paper they sound unbelievable but anyone who watched the race will know the truth. I think Mark has opened up alot of peoples eyes this year though and his experience in formula 1 is paying off, he is still the most consistent of all the title chasers by a little bit after Korea. and red bull is the best chassis on the grid right now.

@nitroboost8765 Personally I think he is just benefitting from a really good car however he has also done really well and staked his claim at a couple races this year " Hungary, silverstone, Monaco" Vettel is only good on saturdays and he isnt the complete package yet I dont think hes ever won a race when he wasnt on pole?... I think if him and Mark were better friends Mark could show him a few tips or something Marks the veteran.

@puddingpants7 Well, yeah, he making the most of a car that can win races, and he has actually made less mistakes than the other title contenders, although, he has been outpaced (in qualy, at least) by seb, but i would say, Webb's the better racer.....A driver i would like to see in a better car though, is Kamui Kobayashi, coz he has outpaced a couple of reputed drivers (Trulli and Heidfeld) and one rather underrated driver (de la rosa) with relative ease....

@puddingpants7 Vettel won Malaysia 2010 from 3rd on the grid I think and Brazil from 2nd (virtually pole position though). Webber has outqualified him 7 times this year to Vettel's 12, although Webber was only 7 hundredths off Vettel's pace in Japan and Korea with his injured shoulder.

@Domashel Thats right too... but I mean more along the lines of Vettel actually carving his way through the field like Hamilton or alonso, not the fantastic starts he gets which are still impressive. So far whenever he's tried to force the issue he has wrecked and I think people hold their breathes now when he trys to overtake lol. I heard about Webbers shoulder only recently... dont know what to make of that but those final races were his worst ones of the season.

@puddingpants7 Yeah, Hamilton and Alonso seem to be a bit calmer and better all round racers than Vettel, although I was impressed by his performance in Silverstone where he had his tyre blow out at the second corner and fought back to finish 7th. I was expecting him to make a bold move on Alonso in Hungary but he couldn't get past there despite the RB6's advantage. The Hungaroring is a gay track though.

@Domashel Vettel has the speed but he still has a maturity level of a rookie He is argubly the fastest guy in the field but he's also a liability if things arent perfect, Hamilton is too but he's come around a little bit and Alonso is just class from top to bottom but abit whiny in 2010lol. Seb comeback at silverstone really showed off his pace and he wasn't lucky to salvage those points, he earned them. He lost his cool at Hungary and got thrown off, it was a learning process, hes still young.
