just saying, but the title translation is

huanzhu=return

gege=princess, in this case the emporer's princesses

and together it basically means the return of the princess..

just saying about the info box cuz its not the pearl "zhu".. sorry if you didnt understand that :O

@lillybluegirl : Actually Zhu = pearl. Huan = Return. The "zhu" that is used has a "wang" for the root, placed together with a "zhu" which means pearl. So together it is Returning Pearl Princess - this was the official English title for the original series so I'm not sure how you believe huanzhu = return.... =/

The drama is basically about a common girl who accidentally become the Emperor's god-daughter and was given the title: Huan Zhu Ge Ge (Returning Pearl Princess). Because of her uneducated background and lively personality, she disregards regulations in the palace and cause mayhem.

Vicki Zhao was the first person to receive the main role; thus, pushed her to stardom 15 years ago!
