All we know of his motivations so far is that he's pretty messed in the head. Also, his real name is Evan, but he can't be EMH Evan unless time travel is involved because HABIT should be in his early 50s. It's possible he's Evan's split personality.

The only theory I can think of regarding these "hidden" videos is that maybe, within the canon of this ARG, they're being uploaded by EMH's version of "totheark." That or Slenderman somehow knows how to use editing software and a computer. Heck if I know.
