i would say that so far the Edifice is equally as durable as my G-Shock. it withstood mountain biking and motorcycling without problems so far. the overall quality of the Edifice line should be at least equal to G-Shock. i managed to scratch the mineral glass on both but that's why we have polywatch for. the case and the bracelet on the G-Shock show some scratches after 6 years but the Edifice's case shows no scratches inspite beeing my daily beater for more than 6 months now.

If the second hand is thicking on each second the battery in ok so I suspect that the watch might be fake or faulty. You should contact the seller

I just got this watch. Every function on it works.....except the hour and minute hands :P The second hand ticks, stop-watch works properly, resets correctly. But it won't keep time. Is it faulty, fake, or just need a new battery? Anyone else have this problem as well?

the watch doesn't have backlight but it has luminous coating on the hands and hour markers. I will try to do a video next week as I am away from home and I don't have the watch with me.

the bracelet version is EQS500DB-1A1 but this is not a black label watch. you can find various other models with metal bracelet in the black label range

yes, this watch has a solar rechargeable battery and it works because the battery can store enough power to run the watch, in the dark, for about 6 months.

It's a G-700D-1AVDR. I have it for more than 5 years now, I use it for mountain biking and I have no plans to get rid of it :D
