Ok, I'm not worthy. I played this level for the first time and clocked in at 1 hr 40 min. I thought I was all-ninja like by playing stealthy (and not dying, since the first Crysis I got spanked on Delta level). Props to you guys for blowing through these speed runs.

(crysis has higher systen requirements than warhead)

Then you can start bitching about why you don't get the same number of views. Not that will do you any good anyway as you clearly don't understand some of the dynamics that make for a popular video on Youtube. For starters, you might wanna lose that "can't win don't try" attitude. It ain't doin ya any good.

High settings? No problem. The very highest settings? Not sure. But both these games look gorgeous even on the second highest settings. Not many systems can run Crysis on the very highest settings.

I take it you're not on Windows because Windows Movie Maker does a fairly decent job of making Youtube-friendly videos (e.g., ones that will get the 'Watch in high quality' link).

Well that's cool but I noticed in your 6:27 speed run that you skipped over three secondary objectives:

1) Access the Korean tactical network

2) Blow the Korean propaganda network

3) Access the stash of explosives at the beach bar

I imagine in your 5:20 speed run, you skipped over these objectives as well. Also not sure what you meant by "reloaded twice".

You're right, but I didn't want to do this objects, because Speedruns are all about speed. I don't say that I'm faster, because you can't really compare them.

With reloaded twice I mean that I didn't do the run in one part, I died twice and restarted at the last saving point. You really could discuss a long time if this is allowed. In my 5:20 run I only died one, but I'm sure I'll get it down to none.

Maybe you try one without unnecessary objects too. ;)

Segmented speedruns are definitely recognized as legit although I don't really know exactly what the consensus is on which is better (e.g., all-in-one-go vs. segmented). And you're doing what I would call a 'real' speedrun since your only goal is to complete the level as quickly as possible. I imposed limitations (must do all objectives) on my speed run just to make it more interesting (for me anyway). You should post your 5:20 speedrun. I'd like to see that.

No, I'm racing through like that for the sake of the speedrun. Normally, you'd be sneaking around in the bush and whatnot. You'll probably have a lot more fun in this game if you take your time and proceed through in stealth mode (whenever possible). Although some guys like to go at it Rambo-style. Depends on what you like, I guess...

i beat the whole game on Delta - killed every single KPA. it took me a whole day. and i killed every single alien. completed all objectives too. its next to impossible for a noob to do. and when you have to fight the other nano suits thats when it becomes a real pain. hate those little aliens.

Just for sheer amusement, like the reducing gravity or increasing maximum strength and making vehicles invulnerable and then going out and punching a tank and watching it go flying. But for a serious play session? No, definitely not. No cheats. I'm a purist when it comes to that.

Well, suit yourself. In between contacts I love launching vehicles miles into the Air using C4. If done too much it just goes surreal. I played the game though and through using one only weapon each time, always a fun challenge..

No, Crysis Warhead is a standalone game. You don't need Crysis installed to install and run Warhead. I don't know why they call it an expansion. It just confuses things. But personally, if I had to choose between one or the other, I'd go with Crysis.

Yeah Crysis gives you a lot more bang for your buck. Warhead is quite short. I finished it in one sitting. Also, Crysis is a less linear. The first 2/3 of it anyway. You can just roam all over the countryside. It's a real blast.

In Crysis, you can play with the Tank. But in warhead, the most you get is the IFV..

I don't know. That's way below even the minimum system requirements although I've heard that the most important things are RAM and the video card. You should try the Crysis demo.
