  • Beautiful. This variation is so so hard!!! :O

  • So BEAUTIFUL!

  • beautiful!!! i love it :D

  • Very good!

  • i like it ... love love love

  • adoro mas e muiito lento prefiro psy

  • i must go to France sometime to see the real live performance of Paris Opera Ballet, they are the best.

  • @ThePCMMOer and you think you can do it?? Id like to see you try. She trained for years and years and worked really hard to be able to do that well. If you don't like ballet then don't write those ignorent comments.

  • This is my favorite variation of the three. I love her lines-- so gorgeous!

  • More more more! :o

  • stupendaaa!!!

  • Amen.

  • wow thats SO good shes the best!

  • WOW THIS IS AMAZING~! shes the strongest dancer ive ever seen shes got so much strength and she makes everything seem so easy literally! she lookes so light and as though shes flying. Im just wondering is the arabesque at 0:44 meant to have a bent supporting leg? O_O i dont think so ...

  • Wow she is gorgeous!!

But doesn't anyone think the low arabesques at 0:58 are weird? The arms aren't in a normal position... idk. Just my opinion.

  • It's choreography

  • I know, I just don't like it. I prefer other ways of doing it. I'm sure she didn't decide to do that.

  • well the people who choreographed this have their style, its not an actual ballet excersice so you can be unque with the arms at times

  • Don't we all wish to be this good someday *stares into space dreamily* so beautiful!

  • Muito legal, só tinha visto essa variação uma vez.

  • she is so beautiful =]

but i don't like her head in some parts

its too far forward, but other than that she was beautiful.

her balance and strength is very admirable =]

  • I have never seen a better execution of this difficult variation. She is strong, steady and in complete control.

  • I've never seen a better perfomance eighter.... she is just amazing!!! And i love the slow execution... =)

  • bellissimaaa

  • it's beautiful!!!

  • PERFECT!!!!!!!!! my jaw is still scraping the floor. What a beautiful dancer and a joy to watch.

  • super...

    magnifique...

  • this is my favourite dance of all time :)

    it's absolute perfection

  • Bravo!!!

  • She is so amazing in this variation. I would love to see her in the variation from Grand pas Classique.

  • WOW!!

  • It's complete mastery. It's unbelievably controlled and center. The distribution of weight and easy extension is remarkable. I've never seen this variation performed so exquistely, and I've seen quite a few.

  • this is just SO beautiful!

  • so controlled, just wonderful

  • Just gorgeous!!

  • Wow!! who is she?

she's got amazing legs and wonderful port de bras. she's so good!

  • Anges Letestu, I think thats how you spell it :0)

  • Agnès Letestu

  • this is amazing.... it seems like she isnt finishing her movements though

  • she seems a little off the music at the beginning but maybe thats just her musical interpretation, beautiful extentions though

  • fluidity and strength. supllenes with controll...beautifull upper body, a tad sticky into the pose turns...but that is a difficult preparation.

    so so good

  • ..ran out of characters but that was for SopranoKayla1992 :]

  • she has beautiful feet, and her control is amazing.lol i loved it!:)

  • pyfaz, it is just you.

    this lady is AMAZING!

  • i think she messed up in a bit

  • she doesnt seem to be spotting. her head just floats around with the rest of her body on all her turns. and on her arabesques during the fast part, she keeps her chin tucked in.

    maybe thats just me :)

  • oh agnes...this video insures that i will love YOUR forever! i will never stop watching it. lol

  • Someone here recently referred to Letestu as the most boring dancer he'd ever seen. He's either got a really small dick, or he's just plain stupid. You know who you are too.

  • Some1 explian what's going on here and what a shade is.

  • ye i no

  • Shades is the name of this part of the ballet, the corps de ballet comes on & then there are 3 soloists & Nikiya, a temple dancer & Solor, her lover & an warrior. Nikiya has died because the princess, envious of Solor's love for her, has given her flowers with a poisenous snake in it & Solor is greif stricken. On the stage at this point in La Bayadere, there is a screen...or a shade if you will, that Solor keeps imagining that he sees Nikiya behind. Later they have a pas de deux. Helps I hope!

  • The moment it was clinched for me was the first time I saw Letestu. Dupont also, but Letestu is a bit more unique to me. It's hard to say who's the all time etoile, because they keep producing more!

  • oh god

    I'm creaming my pant!

  • another perfection doll for POB...bravo!

  • i still have no idea how she does that extention and then arabesque to the back! amazing...well i guess she has to be if shes a pro!

  • Looks like she does a sort of semi-passe and a 1/2 turn almost. It's pure strength and technical mastery- she can do anything. I love her, she's my favorite.

  • It's all about isolation of the joints and control in the core muscles. She can probably crack walnuts with her stomach!

  • Yes I know, but even with that she makes it look easy, and that's what makes her stand above the rest. I'm biased, I think POB outshines every other company right now. There's also no other corps that can pull out Kingdom of the Shades like they do- mind boggling.

  • I've only recently discovered POB, but I agree...there's just something so old world about them, so classic. Russians and Americans are brilliant as well, but there's not as much artistry there.

  • One of the things about POB dancers is their sense of musicality, and the lack of affectation and unecessary mannerisms. Despite that, personalities still come through. Of course their syllabus and their traning is brutally difficult, so if you make it through to Etoile that's an amazing accomplishment. I agree, Russians and Americans are wonderful in their own way. POB has maintained a bit of the old world charm, but i refer to it as tradition, and it never looks old when the way maintain it.

  • You should check out Mathieu Ganio - he's a new Etoile. There are a few videos of him here.

  • I'd have to agree with you all. POB is just where it's at. I mean seriously....the day I discovered sylvie I was sold! For me, she is their all-time etoile.

  • What is the full title for this variation?

  • I'm looking for this music: does anyone know where to find variations CDs/music? Is there a website that might have it?

  • She's not a freak. It's called technical mastery. Cute comment though :)

  • WHAT THE HELL!! she is a freak-i wish i could do that haha

  • that is CONTROL! Awesome!!!

  • That was gorgeous.. it took my breath away.

  • i don't like the fast part. It looks wierd. She dances it nicely, but whatever.

  • Funny, for me it's such a beautiful part!

  • her extension is to die for!!! gorgeous!!!

  • Such control and technique...beautiful.

  • amazing legs.

  • She is gorgeous! Love it

  • Amazing, stuning legs and feet!

  • What can I say to that.

    Wonderful doesnt even get close!

    BRavo Bravo

  • Woah...trop souple cette fille!

  • Agnes Letestu =)

  • Brava Agnes!!! Another example of the finest dancing in the world today - Paris Opera Ballet. Flawless, Pure, and dignified.

  • THIS IS AGNES LETESTU FROM PARIS OPERA

  • thank you :)
