  • What a sleeper poetic song from Prefab Spout - totally under-rated singer from the 1980s Thank you too for this wonderful tribute to Faron Young.

  • Lovin this miX!!! I remember hearing it once on Youtube a few years ago and thanks to tha info I will have to pick this one up

  • It seems to be from the album 'Two Wheels Good', the U.S. release of 'Steve McQueen'. There are 3 extra tracks, including Faron (Truckin' Mix).

  • Where does this mix come from? Any help?

  • Yeah, me too.

Nobody's pointed out yet that all the photos are of Faron Young the great star of country of the 50s and after, but the song's actually grumbling about him being boring!

  • I'm not sure. The final lines of the chorus are "Forgive me, Faron Young, four in the morning." I can imagine a young rocker first thinking that Faron Young's "Four in the Morning" is just bubblegum, but that is one of the most gut-wrenching songs I know. Maybe the singer is just pointing out his own presumptions.

  • Thanks, I never had any idea what this song is about. This is a cool mix.

  • Love this track!!
