  • Do these work good in snow?

  • awesome tire

  • is it true that the Maxxis zillas measure short? I was recommended 27" swampfox tires by my yamaha dealer, if I wanted the Zillas would that mean I buy 28" tires?

  • will the 26" zilla's fit on my yamaha grizz 660 stock rims ? if so, will they be hard on my tranny?

  • I was wondering.. I ave a 2008 honda rubicon 500.. Stock.. Im looking for something that will go threw Mud easlily and Do climing hills in the snow... Will these do the job..what do you recomand tire wise

  • hey i got a 2008 brute force 750 im ordering maxxis zillas tomorrow after school what size should i go? 27x9x12 and 27x11x12 or 28x10x12 and 28x12x12? no lift and no after market axles

  • Comment removed

  • those are great tires, i have them on my honda foreman 500 and they work great, they perform really well in the mud

  • i got a 2008 kawasaki brute force 750 and i want some new tires cause my stocks take me no where. What tire size do u reccomend? i want 27'' but like 27x10x12 all around or what?

  • what size would fit mu 2008 honda rubicon 500

  • You could run 26 without a lift. Some are running 27"s with a lift and some without it's close.

  • @traxmsdotcom what if i have a gorilla axe could i fit 30' mud zillas and silverbacks

  • It doesn't matter what axles you run as far as tire fitment. But there will definitley be some mods needed to get 30"s of any tire on that bike.

  • @traxmsdotcom quick question would I have to worry about my stock 500 can am renegade's mechanical health if I put these on it or would it be ok....

    Jim

  • No, it's probably the best choice you could make as it's the lightest tire on the market.Therefor a lot less stress on the quad.

  • @traxmsdotcom thanks for the info I appreciate it fully

  • Will 27x9x12 mudzilla fit on stock brute force rims. I want to put all 4 tires 9 inch. What are your thoughts on that?

  • @crosby78 Shouldn't be no problem though most of the stuff we sell is on upgraded rims.Should have no problem.

  • will thse tires fit good on my 2002 grizzly 660? the tires are both stock size 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear.

  • @raptorandblaster Yes absolutely no problem, all the way up to 27 on the grizz is no problem.

  • The sidewall is showing an arch and pyramid scheme...

  • do you think 27" zillas would be good on a stock grizzly 700 for snow plowing, or should i get gbc gators?

  • Zillas and gators both would be about the same, but you may wnat to look at the Interco Swamplite as well, we've sold many of those for our plow guys.

  • does you know what the biggest tire is i can fit on a stock 04 polaris sportsman 700 with no lift? just wondering thanks for your help

  • Unless you use aftermarket wheels you will be stuck with 25" due to width issues on the polaris. But on our wheels most have been running 27".

  • can i put 30in. zillas on my 350 rancher with a 2in. lift. i measured and it seems ok but i wana be sure

  • Not gonna say it couldn't be done, but way to much tire for that bike and there would be other mods, like fender removal and such.

  • can I run 30x9x14 all the way around on my renegade, I know they will fit but what about the 9 inches wide, will that be a problem?

  • As long as you have 14" wheels it will be no problem I I just got some instock 877-289-6686.Call me Thanks!

  • Hey i have a yamaha timberwolf 250 2wd and i was thinking about getting a set of these. I trail ride but i mud ride alot to so i want something good on trails but also good in mud because the few mudholes we have are really mucky.

  • These ride good for as aggressive as they are, and do great in the mud.Call us at 877-289-6686 for more info and price.

  • I seen a guy at the sand dunes with these on his lifted 700 4x4 grizzly, he helped pull my friend out. They do pretty good in the sand!

  • can yall put a vid on outlaws i hear (for example) that if you get a 28" outlaw it is lighter than most 27" tires

  • Light and Outlaw don't go in the same sentence, but there no where near as light as the zilla's.The outlaw is one of if not the heaviest tire on the market, but it's all about how much power your machine has and how much mud riding your doing.

  • @MrTireman71 do you think i can fit 30" zillas on a honda 500 foreman with a 2" lift without removing the mud guards

  • can you do a video on interco vampires? how are the vampires all together?

  • The Vampires are awesome and just as good now as they were 15 or more years ago.The problem is right now there are non, they moved the molds overseas and have yet to get any back in the country. But suppossed to be better than ever when they do.

  • well i was goin to buy 27x10x11 for the rear of my rancher 420. would that be okay. wat size is best for my 420 for the rear only. i dont wanna buy rims for the back so its an 11 inch rim stock of course.

  • would 26' zillas fit on the stock wheels on my 09 grizzly 550 ?

  • If you have 25-8-12 and 25-10-12 then yes the 26" would work!

  • you might want to go one size up if you want a 26" tire cuz those zillas run small i have 27" zillas and they measure around 26"

  • yes they would

  • I heard it on your website LOL

There was no options for Canada when I went to the check out from the drop down list

  • DISAPPOINTED!

    You dont ship to Canada!

  • Where did you hear that nonsense, we ship to Canada all the time, just give us a shout.877-289-6686

  • Would I need a clutch kit on my Arctic Cat Thundercat 1000 to run 28x10x12 on all corners????

  • You can always run one but that Thudercat would probably sling these like kitty litter, no punt intended.LOL!!

  • hey i have a prarie 360 with stock tires i think they are 25s how much would theese in 27 slow me down

  • Not sure 27 would fit the 360, I have put 26 on it with no problems!

  • 27' zilla's are a relatively light, and short, tire. They compare to other 26" tires... they run short. so you should be ok. Some new clutch springs will get your low end power back that you lose from added weight..

  • thats a beast

  • I consider the Outlaws and silverbacks to be in the beast department, but these are sure beasty compared to stock tires!

  • do they make them with an 11" rim?

  • wow this tire is supper light the 27 x9 r only 20 pounds and the rear 27x 11 r 24 pounds this will be my next tire and i have found them for 335 dollars for all four HOW R THEY SO CHEAP AND SO LITE WHAT IS MISSING????

  • do u think zillas would be ok for a kingquad 400 as

  • If you looking for a light weight mudd tire they will do smokin on that or anyother quad!

  • do u think the 25 zilla wood be to small of tred for my 08 420

  • It's really according to what your going to do with your 420.Most 25" on the market have about the same tread height as the zilla. They normally go taller in the 26 and up sizes. But if where you go there's not clearance issues the 25 inch will do all you need.

  • Until you high center either of these will go anywhere you desire. The Zilla advantage is the weight while the mudzilla has a deeper lug. But these are mostly both mud tires, if your on trail more than anything the swamplites or sti mud trax have been great!

  • ok thanks man

  • do you think zilla or the mudzillas would do better? i do a lot of trail riding but when i get in mud it all ways pretty nasty and i dont want to be getting stuck. im not worried about turning them.

  • i stick wid mudlight there the only tires i want on mine other than vimpiers

  • With zillas if you go 26" you should be fine without either. That's the best thing about the zilla there super light therefore easy to turn over!

  • could fit 27 on my bruin without a lift

  • I had my neighbors Bruin on display all summer and I would say 26" would be the safer choice!

  • i think will have to get a 2inch lift and a cluch kit

  • With zillas if you go 26" you should be fine without either. That's the best thing about the zilla there super light therefore easy to turn over!

  • Sweet thanks for the feedback!

  • i just had a set installed on my grizz 550 its great! rides smooth and eats through mud with no problem!

  • Well 25 would be the best as far as power, but all the power in the world and high centered does you no good.26" escpecially in the zilla would be a fine choice.

  • i have a 420 rancher and i dont like being slowed down at all so what size 25 or 26?

  • Yes 27's fit Rancher 420 no problem. You would need 12 inch wheels ofcourse!

  • do you think that a stock rancher 420 could fit these as 27s with no lift

  • tell me will my grizzly 550 be able to turn and move these? Do i have to upgrade my clutch?

  • It'll turn em like they werent there... Any size zilla, Even the 30s.

  • if you lookin for a performance upgrade i would go with a dalton clutch kit. I have an 06 grizzly 660 with 28" outlaws stock axles and stock everything else and puttin snorkles, exhaust, and jet kit soon but I can tell with the clutch kit gives the power back and a little more with those 28" outlaws. I have 28x12.5x12 on the rear and 28x9.5x12 on the front.

  • thought you had 29.5?? outlaws

  • i do but i am trading my set of 28" mudlites I have for a set of 28" silverbacks with only 18 miles on them straight up and then sellin those

  • how many tires do you have?!?!?.. you got 28" mudlites... 28" outlaws 29.5" outlaws and 28" silerbacks??? any others??

  • haha sold the 28" outlaws and tradin the mudlites for silverbacks in a couple weeks and then selling the silverbacks haha but im keepin my 29.5" outlaws on my bike

  • yea who is dumb enough to trade there silverbacks for mudlites... mudlites are a joke!

  • haha hsi bike cant turn the silverbacks very well so he wants to trade me my mudlites for his silverbacks

  • hey, whats a set of 26" laws cost? 26x12x12 and 26x10x12?

  • Thanks for the feed back!

  • these zillas rock. go great through the mud and the loose stuff. u start gettin into a harder surface and goin pretty fast and start turnin it seems like ur floating. i wouldnt say they r bad for the trails and if it does get a lil muddy then ur set!

  • Ok just try me again we were a little short handed Friday. But do leave a message if you happen to miss us so we can keep track of any missed calls! Thanks!

  • haha....i think it was like friday at like 3 my time. not sure what thatd be for you. im in illinois.

  • Very sorry can you tell me what day and the time you tried to call?

  • tried calling 3 times, no answer :(

  • alright. well ive been at school all day haha. ill give ya a call tommorow after school!

  • Just call me 877-289-6686!

  • i dont know which would do better in mucky water like.......creeks and stuff like that.

  • Which is better in the mud?mud lites or zillas?which is better on dirt trails?mudlites or zillas?which is better in the snow?mudlites or zillas?need to know deciding which to buy

  • Straight mud, Zillas, trails mudlites, snow I would say either.Basically the Mudlites are allterrain and the Zillas are more designed for the loose stuff but aren't as bad on trails as the other big mudd tires out there!

  • That's what we keep hearing and I believe it mostly goes back to how easy it is to turn and burn those babies. Thanks for the feedback!!!

  • man i just put a set of 26" Zillas on my 08 brute 650 SRA and we went to Red Creek MS and had a blast...these tires are incredible....they hooked up awesome in every type of terrain...very pleased with these tires

  • Right again. Also and as you may have heard me say before.Once you get to anything like mudlite, zilla, swamplite, ect you can pretty much go where you want until you high center. In the mucky stuff it definatley helps to have the best cleaning tire but come more down to who has the horses to clean them out!

  • haha well.....we all "go deep" and my buddy has mudlites but i want something that does better in that mucky creek bottom stuff.

  • Good but I recommend a john boat for the water.LOL!!And 26 are no problem on that bike!

  • how do they do in water? and can you run 26s with wheels on a foreman 500? any clearance issues?

  • Well buy selling you wheels I can finally get that extra gallon of milk for my starving kids.Oh and also they may not fit due to the stock offset with factory wheels.Ours stick out for clearance!!LOL!!

  • well what would be better 26 executioner or 26 zillas?

  • y wheels y not just use stocks??

  • It has the power I'm just not 100% sure on clearance unless you get wheels!

  • well would the brute 650 SRA be able to turn 27 good without mods??

  • 27" is what most are running.According to if it's the independent or straight axle you may need wheels!

  • what would be a good size for 650 brute force?

  • If you must have 28 than the zilla is definatley the best for that bike. But we recommend 27 on the Rincons just due to them not having the best low end!

  • Hey traxmsdotcom

I got an 07 Honda Rincon 680 (2"lift, exhaust). I was wondering if I could put 28x10 on front adn 28x12 on back of stock 12" Rincon wheels.... and have no prob turning them? I love the Zilla tire, and am going to purchase some, but wanted some input before I buy.

  • how smooth are they on a scale of 1-10 if factory is 10 and 1 is like outlaws or something please resond!! thanks

  • I would say a 7 up to 6 mph after that a 9.

  • thanks man

  • hey do they ride smooth on roads an or trails ? i can tell they will do fine in mud an snow .. road an trail an rocks an logs ???? anyone who has them knows about them .. please ... thanks ..

  • For as aggressive as they are they ride great. They are not as smoothe as factory, but may be the smoothest aggresive tire out there.

  • what size would be best for a 08 rancher.....thx

  • 350 rancher 26, but 420 rancher 27 ok!

  • confused honda dealer said fr-25x8x12 rear-25x10x12

  • Oh well I hope I don't steer you wrong, 25" is definately best on the quad.Heck the 24 inch it comes with is actually best. But if your planning on taking it anywhere.Ground clearance is the game.If your just trail riding with no clearance issues, then stay as close to stock as possible.

  • thx for the help 25 it is.

  • I have an 09 Suzuki Kingquad 750. Just wondering if the 28X10X12 and 28X12X12 zillas will fit on my bike with no lift. I do not want to lift it, but want as much ground clearance as possible and do not want any rubbing. I was also thinking of the 28x8x12 and 28x10x12 mudzillas.

  • To be sure with clearance and with no lift I would recommend the 27 ZIllas.Anything 28 and above could require mods!

  • Thanks a bunch, will keep up guys in mind when I buy tires.

  • How is the sidewall of this tire? Im concerned with it being a "light" 6-ply so I was thinking the sidewalls of them are gunna be on the thin side

  • I got some 26" Mudzillas for sale all 4 for $ 300 like new

  • great deal

  • Yeah they sold the same day best mud tires I ever owned

  • Oh and I'm not sure what size of tire to go with, I'd like a bigger tire. I don't want to modify or scrub on the bike. With minimal power loss.

  • If your wanting a little more clearance, but not a big power difference, then 26" is the way to go.

  • I live in Ontario Canada, I do lots of backwoods riding through thick pond/swamp muck, to steep climbs, etc. I also haul wood with the bike. The bike has stock tires now, I will need new rims as well. I like the jam of the bike now, so I'd like to keep as much of that as possible. I don't care about top end speed I don't go fast anyway. Planning on putting them on an 07 Vinson 500, or the new 09 Kingquad 500. Depending ofcourse on a test ride.

  • It will do good for that terrain.Find out for sure what bike before ordering though as it willl be a different setup on each bike.

  • 26" sounds good to me. I will hold off until I know for sure which bike I want them on. Thanks for the quick reply.

  • my dad got these tires on his grizzly in a 26"

size and i got 25" mudzillas on my grizzly and he kicks my ass in the snow with them.. but in the summer i'll show him up in the mud

  • He's probably getting you in ground clearance and weight but the Mudzilla is one bad boy as well!!

  • ya that two.. and the mudzilla digs more which sucks in snow

  • Well you may be one of those guys like me who has a little trouble staying off the throttle!!LOL!!!

  • hahaha yea that to

  • how do they ride on the trail? I have 27inch mudlights are they about the same weight and are they better in mud then the bugs and mudlights? Also do you guys ship to canada?

  • MUDBUGS 4 LIFE

  • Mud bugs a great and probably the first aftermarket tire you have ran right. Most everyone loves there fisrt aftermarket tire as they are so much better than stock. We still sell the bugs, but the zilla is definatley the future. It's basically the exact tread design but lighter so they don't rob as much horse power. The weight is what is so unique about the zilla, there's no question on the traction!!Thanks for your comment!!

  • they are all decent but I prefer ITP

  • For a great Mud tire and ride go for the GBD MudHogs. Theyare heavier than the Zillas, but that doesn't matter to me. I like them the best on my 700 Grizzly

  • hey men, i´m from mexico, one question, i need a tire for rock crawling, whats is the best for this? itp terracros or maxxis big horm, or gbc dirt tamer

  • BIGHORNS

  • thanks men!

  • Sorry for the long delay, you probably have your answer by now. I don't check this as often as I need to. The terracross and dirt tammer are basically copies of the Big horn. It's really a toss up between terracross and big horn, you can't go wrong either way!

  • Whats gonna climb and go through mud better? Mud B!t4He$ or the zillas? Buddy has zillas and I gotta go through more than him, but still have a smooth ride as him too. lol.

  • sweet tires

  • not rying to keep bothering u but the tire i want to put on the three wheeler is 27x12-9 i'll have 2 find a diferent rim if i have too

  • if it were u with a 250 big red (used 4 huntin and mud ridin which would u get mudzilla or the maxxis zilla (how much more lug is on the mudzilla than the zilla)(wuld the super swamper vampire be good also, tell me witch ones are best in order

  • On a 250 BigRed you better go with the lightest mud tire you can. Even if you have had alot of work done on the motor, most of the time I would not put a heavy mud tire on an atv that 450cc or less.

  • u think itll b better than the mudzilla and will it hold up good on da road 2 more thing how much r they from 27in -28 I plan on puttin them on a honda 250 big red with alot of work on the motor. dont think itll be 2 much?

  • The Maxxis Zilla will be better in some ways since it is the lightest mud tire on the market in that size so they're easier to turn. The rubber compound should be about the same for wear but neither are recommended for the road. As far as mud goes it won't pull any better or clean out any better due to its lug isn't as big or wide (but lighter). 2 27-12-12 Mudzilla for $241.12,2 28-12-12 for $271.14, 'Zillas two 27-11-12 for $177.97 They don't offer 28 zilla's in a 12" rim!

  • i was really wanting to get some zillas but they dont make them that would pit my rims

i need 27-10-12 for the front and 27-12-12 for the rear

    damn!!

    haha

  • They are made in the 27-9-12 and 27-11-12 which will work great.Just let me know!

  • those sizes will still work?

  • If you have 12 inch wheels these will most definately fit and with the 9 and 11 just better performance.Due to lighter weight and slightly nawworer profile to better cut through the mud and muck!!

  • yea... true

guess i just like the lil bit wider size of them

makes the 4 wheeler look bigger sorta

    no wut i mean?

    haha

  • It's really according to what tires your running, I've seen tires marked 12 that are wider than 12 and some that are narrower than 12.Also with the profile of the tires some sit wider than others. But I think the zillas sit wide enough to look tough and a 1/2 inch on both sides of a tire is hard to see most the time!!!

  • i just put some 26" mudlite xls on mine

i wont need tires for awhiule but i was just getting an idea of what i wanna get next

im runnin 26-10-12 for the front and 26-12-12 for the rear

i thought bout gettin the 27-11-12 all around in the zillas wen it comes time

  • I would like to know what atv you have, but 99% of the time the 9 wide in the front is gonna be the best to go with for handling, cutting through the mud, weight, turning radius, you name it.About the only time we sell the wider on the front these days is for a certain look someones trying to gain!!

  • i have a red 2007 honda rancher 420

i guess i like the wider ones on the front for the bigger look i guess

i understand wut ur sayin tho

  • Yeah I figured it was a look, but you can only tell looking straight on from the front. From the side it all looks the same, that's why for the performance to me it's just not worth it!!

  • yea i no wut ya mean

  • Bighorns as a rule measure one size big then what there label, Is this true for the zilla's or do they measure what there labeled.

  • There are so many different factors that affect this. It has a lot to do with what wheel you put htem on and how much air pressure you use. The big wide rear Bighorns may measure large due to they're so wide and getting squeezed on narrow rims could make them stand up taller. The Zillas only come 11" wide therefore not raising up as much on the same wheel. I have yet to hear a complaint on the ones we have sold so I would say they run fairly true.

  • The last comment was my brother trying to piss me off. I love Trax Motorsports and reccomend they to everyone. Keep up the good work, and fast delivery!!!

  • Looking good!
