no way???? i was on the estate wen they where blowing these flats up, i remember i was driving then ducking down wen the bang went off but didnt know what was going on then by accident drove towards the flats where they had put up barriers and to my surprise the flats blow up right in frount of the car. i remember pissing my sides at the fact that we all ducked down in the car wen the 30 second bang went off
its a shame they got knocked down and i liver in them for 1 year i miss them they were good there youst to be 5 of them in storrington i did live in them to the third one
my great grandma lived on the 13th floor. i used 2 get dizzy an tha wen ad visit her, u cud feel it swayin. i missed it wen they did this..i was in mine down the road..an i felt my house shake..i thought it was an earthquake!
Hey i remember these flats in Croxteth, used to be able to see them from the motorway. There were quite a few in Croxteth that have all be demolished. The last ones were Altbridge Park by the showcase.
