I am ready for Direct X10 and a powerful new video card along with a QuadCore. REAL time reflections... on the fly. That is the ticket! Maybe some day. I can dream!
Most frames took only 20/30 seconds but some (the chair with reflective metal) took up to 5 minutes per frame. There are 25 frames in 1 second of animation. Best: 8 minutes of rendering for 1 second of animation. Worst: over 2 hours for 1 second of animation...

I've been looking for someone familiar with 3D effects, i work for outspark (Fiesta Online) i make guides, trailers but also 9 minut long movies.
Now my question is: Do you wanna become member of number7studios as a 3D specialist?

How long was the render time per second of animation? No Vray used at all, just pure 3DS MAX? Cool.
