The second time around, Lemieux used KC as a ploy to get a new arena. He NEVER had any intention of moving the team. He was NEVER going to allow any potential buyer to move the team either. That's why the deal with Jim Balsillie fell through. He wanted to move the team, but Lemieux said 'no.' I even wonder if Lemieux REALLY even ever intended to sell the team. I suspect he was using THAT as a ploy too. Balsillie realized he was just getting jerked around, and backed out.

You need to get your facts together. The Penguins near move had absolutely nothing to do with fan support (or lack of it.) It was because a previous owner (Howard Baldwin) gave general manager permission to sign whoever at whatever cost in the 90's. The result was ridiculous contracts that could not be supported. This started in '97 while the Penguins were in the playoffs. Lemieux stepped in and bought the team to keep them from moving. You can't name 1 time in Pens' history either.

Cooke is a worthless POS, and I do believe he would be the type that would bite someones hand if given the opportunity, especially with the Hartnell incident on Letang. He probably did in my opinion, (just like Hartnell probably did) but with that video there is no way of telling.

I didn't hear Asham say his ear was bit. But if it was I don't feel sorry for him, he was the one that jumped in and then started sucker punching Cooke in the back of the head while Cooke was on his knees on the ice.

On a side note, I absolutely loved it when the Flyers second goal was wiped out b/c they were too busy being goons, roughing up players and got a penalty right before the goal. Classic Flyers! Let's go Pens!!!

I honestly believe what Letang said and just watching that happen you could tell Hartnell bit him...Letang's reaction & the blood from his hand is a great example of it happening.....NHL was wrong in not suspending him.... I frankly don't care about this what's done is done...Pretty stupid for a team to not address the reasons they lost and just jump straight into shittalk
