if you have a bad back a ride in a c300 vs a 328i is like night and day. the c300 insulates you from the road everytime you drive over a speedbump or onto a drive way. And yes, enough torque to pass a slower moving car going 120km/h on the freeway.

That's like saying an A4 is a just a poor mans Audi or a G37 is just a poor mans Infiniti, they are called entry level luxury sedans. If they didn't exist the Mercedes E-class would just be a poor mans Mercedes S-class. Some people simply want a compact luxury sedan, its what suits there life style. @koston777 No I dont own a Mercedes C-class, they are nice little cars but not really my taste. I'm a family owner of a 2008 335i coupe & a 2009 Infiniti G37 sedan. I'm more of a Luxury performance kind of guy, the Mercedes C-class simply lacks the over all driving dynamics of a luxury sports car. To me its just an overpriced refined great quality car, nothing special to me however I am very fond of the E-class and CLS-class.

my father has this crar its great it has a beautiful interior and the body looks great it also is ok on the mpg it gets around 18 city 26 highway it also handles very well hope i helped

@donking2000000 I used to drive a ML350 and i would get confused all the time. I mean i'm not going to look at it or feel it every time i want to turn on my signal. I just want a quick dab and switch.
I'm still surprised that it is a common thing to get confused. I drive a clk and have driven other mercs, but had never got confused by the cruise control. I admit, it did take a while to work out the fact that the indicator stalk covered multiple items inc. wiper, main beam, etc.
Could be handy to have an on / off switch for CC, but once mercedes are satisfied with something, they don't tend to change it (foot operated parking brake anyone?)
I drove a C300 through the San Gabriel mountains fairly aggressively. Not much for steering feel or feedback, but it handled very well and cornered level which was very impressive. Still, the interior felt rather cheap, like it was made of the snap together plastics you'd expect in a Pontiac G6.
The "insulating ride quality" is a bit misleading. It really depends what wheels and tires you have on. The fugly stock 17"s are soft and forgiving, but the optional sport 18"s create plenty of cabin noise.

@ankzrock7 at the moment i have watched 4 of their videos (this one included), the only one where this wasnt true was their review of the EVO 10. I think its probably true for most of the videos though.
@ankzrock7 - We hope you'll watch more of our videos and see the guys vary depending upon the car. If you watch the Genesis Coupe, or the MazdaSpeed3 you'll see exact opposite of your assessment. Other times, they both fall more in the middle. Paul and Todd are very different drivers, so you might have found yourself drawn to cars/videos where Paul is pleased and Todd is not.

First off, if you want to stand out, you shouldn't be driving a 4-door saloon. Secondly, writing and shooting a review in a town where Merc's seem to be plentiful and using that as a point to discount the manufacturer is obviously biased. Thirdly, driving a C-class for one day isn't owning a Benz. And if you haven't owned one, you don't have the right to make any comparisons or comments. Bottom line: Merc's define build quality and longevity and I know. My W124 still rolls like new.
My mother got one of these last week ! Oh my gosh, it is awesome ! Hers is gray and it has leather seating and a lot of luxury. The sound system ; BRILLIANT ! This is probably the best car she has ever owned !

Got my 2nd c300 4matic sport yesterday. First one was a 2008, dealer called and suggested to trade mine in for a 2010 on a killer deal, I save about 120 dollars a month in finance charge. The new one is black over almond mocha interior, fully loaded. If only the C350 4matic was available in the US it would be perfect! Anyway, being the second one of the new c class obviously means that I really like this car.
I agree me and my wife just bought an 06 230 sport that we chose over the c300 main reason being that the (older car) car had alot more feel to it than the new one.

I'm still surprised that it is a common thing to get confused. I drive a clk and have driven other mercs, but had never got confused by the cruise control. I admit, it did take a while to work out the fact that the indicator stalk covered multiple items inc. wiper, main beam, etc.
Could be handy to have an on / off switch for CC, but once mercedes are satisfied with something, they don't tend to change it (foot operated parking brake anyone?)

I drove a C300 through the San Gabriel mountains fairly aggressively. Not much for steering feel or feedback, but it handled very well and cornered level which was very impressive. Still, the interior felt rather cheap, like it was made of the snap together plastics you'd expect in a Pontiac G6.

The "insulating ride quality" is a bit misleading. It really depends what wheels and tires you have on. The fugly stock 17"s are soft and forgiving, but the optional sport 18"s create plenty of cabin noise.

@ankzrock7 - We hope you'll watch more of our videos and see the guys vary depending upon the car. If you watch the Genesis Coupe, or the MazdaSpeed3 you'll see exact opposite of your assessment. Other times, they both fall more in the middle. Paul and Todd are very different drivers, so you might have found yourself drawn to cars/videos where Paul is pleased and Todd is not.

First off, if you want to stand out, you shouldn't be driving a 4-door saloon. Secondly, writing and shooting a review in a town where Merc's seem to be plentiful and using that as a point to discount the manufacturer is obviously biased. Thirdly, driving a C-class for one day isn't owning a Benz. And if you haven't owned one, you don't have the right to make any comparisons or comments. Bottom line: Merc's define build quality and longevity and I know. My W124 still rolls like new.

Got my 2nd c300 4matic sport yesterday. First one was a 2008, dealer called and suggested to trade mine in for a 2010 on a killer deal, I save about 120 dollars a month in finance charge. The new one is black over almond mocha interior, fully loaded. If only the C350 4matic was available in the US it would be perfect! Anyway, being the second one of the new c class obviously means that I really like this car.

I agree me and my wife just bought an 06 230 sport that we chose over the c300 main reason being that the (older car) car had alot more feel to it than the new one.
