lol, no pob mate. These old ad's really spark long forgotten memories as a kid, so i was gutted the ad was not there! Sad really, lol :-D

Dixons eh? Just goes to show prices dont really change, just the technology. This is prob the 1st or 2nd time blues bros was shown on tv. Good clips.

£480 for a 21" telly and £320 seems a bit steep for a video recorder, especially if you take inflation into account and considering Saisho was not really a leading brand.
Mind you impressive graphics for that time on that Dixon's advert. The start of it reminds me of the opening credits for Top of the Pops during that era.
Can you still even buy Skol Lager nowadays? I reckon they should've removed "Y GOOD" from their slogan at 3:32 and replaced it with "E" lol.
