I'm glad to see this locomotive up and fireing. I was first introduced to 2472 through a Goodheart production of OHRF's 4449. I loved seeing the two premeer passenger engines of the SP Pound the rails together... there's something magical about a 4-6-2 and 4-8-4 running a double header. Glad to see she's still running.
It is fantastic to know that there are people out there who want to restore steam engines. i would glady contribute to any organization that does such things
Due to the future rise in gas prices, and the expense of driving, and servicing cars, along with the high price of airline tickets, transportation has a high chance of going back to trains.
Full length video is even better!!! I have my own copy. Seeing Steam Engine #2472 in Niles Canyon, California is a great experience. Check with GGRM website for the next dates that it is running down the tracks in 2009
