  • sounds like there was some bad knock in the 2nd pull (and possibly the 1st)

    ...though I suppose it could be other noise from the video.

  • Lots of wind on those pulls...no need to stick the camera out the window.

  • How much power was it putting down at 23psi? I assume the internals were stock.

  • Damn DUDE! That shit pulls! Wait! You aren't 3sgte? That's off the 5sfe engine? Did you do any work on the inside or is that stock internals? I know that engine is very durable (As I have one myself in my Celica GT) and I hear it can handle up to 16psi on stock internals. People say I should boost that instead of getting a 3sgte, but I am converting mine to full GT-Four.

  • @24okay it's the 5s block with the 3s head, i was doing a quick high boost run but it dropped a valve seat in the head....don't get a 5sfe

  • Don't get a 5sfe period? Because it is a pretty durable engine. But I would rather go with 3sgte.

  • You mean is it a 5sfe (factory na) or a 3sgte (factory turbo)? 5sfte is what we call someone who boosted a 5sfe. Unless of course you are talking about a 3sgte head on a 5sfe block, that would be a 5sgte.

    How much boost were you running on that TD06 to make the motor blow?
