I remember going to see sammy in my home town back in "71" some of the other kids were rude and disrespectful toward him,i thought that was sad,because ive alway's been a fan, if he was on today i would still watch

ran screaming from the store. I also remember a long line of an hour or more at the State Fair to get his autograph and the other old channel 4 stars. Most of the people were there to see him.
I think we all had some fear of Sammy.lol. He was my childhood hero . I lost my grandmother this year to cancer. And in her years , their was not a day that she would miss Sammy Terry on tv . She and bolded a great deal , with the love and the interest we both have for Sammy . I went to see Sammy , this past Oct. He was great.

A lady at work was shopping at his music store when he started talking to someone. She freaked and almost ran screaming.
