You know, I really don't understand all the MCR 'fans' that act like Bullets and Black Parade are two utterly incompatible things. That's not true at all; you don't have to hate one and love the other. I love them both like crazy for what they are as individual records...

Personally, Disenchanted is my favorite MCR song, but that's beside the point. Musically, that album is ANYTHING but dull and meaningless. no two songs on there sound remotely alike, they're all so drastically different. And, particularly on songs like Mama and Welcome To The Black Parade, MCR shows just how creative they can be, how they can do songs with a totally different sound that straight up rock.

Bullets is amazing, sure, but it's nothing but straight up rock. There's no real musical variety there, nothing that shows the range MCR is capable of. Drowning Lessons is good, but if you're talking about deep lyrics, it's nothing compared to Famous Last Words or Cancer. Even off Bullets, I think Our Lady Of Sorrows, Skylines and Turnstiles, and Early Sunsets Over Monroeville have the best lyrics.

It's all just opinion, but there's not an MCR song I don't love. each one has its own merit.
