@Fretplayer1 Guessing Elementalist will be the most popular, Engineers will be the least. Engineers will require a ton of work and understanding to be effective and I doubt many people will want to bother with it at first.

I'm trying to decide between Guardian or Necromancer. I certainly want to have the class with the most HP and survivability...any tips? thanks for gameplays guardian looks awesome

@LordDKraken I can tell you that the Necromancer has quite a few more abilities that allow him to get hp back, possibly more control and definitely a large HP pool (2nd after the Warrior) Guardians might mitigate damage outright but lack the ability to get it back once it's gone. Necros are just an incredible profession and have a lot of micromanagement to work with. Minions, DoT damage, and skill synergy not to mention it's Death Shroud mechanic. Thanks for the support!

I hadn't considered that option...I think I'll try a necro, I like them and they look powerful but I'd like to know more about these 3 classes (necro, guardian and warrior). sorry for the long answer, feel free to add me or answer in my channel. @LordDKraken Warriors have Endure Pain and Shield Block, 2 abilities that make them nearly invincible, I believe there is one more. Considering that though, A Necro always has access to ranged abilities, mitigation skills, and ways to get HP back besides it's healing skill- I'm gonna have to say the Necro has more survivability overall. Ranged skills can prolong a death, and Warriors only have Throw Bolas off the top of my head, which is a snare. Course there's traits too...

@LordDKraken Guardian has very low health, but the best available armor. Necro is the other way around. Warrior has both, however.

@ChrisCapel1998 Well as far as i know.. Guardians have 3 wall skills..One on the staff.. One on the hammer.. And another that's a utility skill.. Since he didn't have the staff equipped then he couldn't use one of them.. And the other he probably just didn't want to use.. But in the video he uses the hammer one a lot,.

Interesting vid - nice use of the Blind condition from Flashing Blade as well as trapping enemies inside your barrier.

If the Guardian has any real shortcomings, i'd say it's their small HP pool and limited ranged attack options.

Sweet, thank alot fot the upload. Finally a video showing in depth the 2-handed weapons for a Guardian. I really enjoyed the look of the greatsword - the swift symbol and the whirling AOE slashes particularly looked good.

Very nice DPS, good CC and AoEs. Sylvari Guardian is going to be my main ^_^ (after watching your Warrior video that's going to be my second character xD). I wasn't too interested in the Great Sword or Hammer at first. Now I think both are a must haha. Good vid ^_^

They are leaving some weapon types for future expansions, I think, as new weapons will equal new abilities.

Apart form the Greataxe, Claw/Fist weapons, Crossbows, Javelins and Pole arms could also be possible additions.

@ThePhil4all tank classes tend to be boring in other games because there's very little that they actually do, they have high defense, get buffs, then just hold aggro the entire time.

the guardian, however, actually has one of the lowest health pools in the game, their defense is entirely based on you using the professions various skills properly.

they can also dps if they want to, that just have a ton of support skills at their disposal if they want them.

Yeah I won't be able to upload the Elementalist video simply because there just isn't enough to bother sharing, another helpful member of the community uploads skill videos and I'd be doing the same thing, I'm not a fan of putting up stuff we already have, I think it's pointless. @ImperfectBlock question, i got this video recording program called fraps that records your screen or games that you are playing, i can run the program off an external device like a HDD or a Flash drive, do you think i can put it on a 64 gig flash drive, take it to one of these gameing conventions and they would allow me to record my gameplay with it?

@xXBurntBaconXx For the conventions I've been to, they don't allow you to plug things into the PC towers themselves. I think you need to be part of the press and prolly have a scheduled session to do direct recording or just find the right time and place. I tried doing it myself and they didn't let me, so I had settle for a camera on a tripod. Thing is, all this footage is just gonna be moot anyway when betas come out- just do what you can for now I say.
