Those cells wont get infected, and because T cells remain in body for 2 years.. I think this would Help alot on avoiding re infection of mutant variants!? NOOO?

glycoproteins ARE the reason why HIV can bind into CD4 cells! HIV uses the glycoprotein gp120 to bind to a receptor in CD4, then after the complex changes conformation, another viral glycoprotein called gp41 is fastened into the cell, and will then pull the 2 cells together, and fuse.
